Ok , so Rafa bought Keane because in the year 2007 he was the most prolific striker in the league. A premier league proven goalscorer , I think Rafa made a good choice that didnt work out. Therefore for us to win the league this year (A real possibility) we are going to have to bite the bullet and invest in a striker.

Huntellar - strong quick, and prolific - not kuyt prolific but van nistelroy , also has the attributes to play as a lone striker - unlike say Owen,

etoo is a good shout but I think that barca are odds on to win the liga plus a decent run in europe so I cant see it - would be my first choice though

Cant see either happening, Huntelaar is off to Real and Eto is playing well for Barca so doubt they want to sell him.

Id look at Santa Cruz, or any one of a number of up and coming Brazilians or Russians or somebody like Cavenagi..theres got to be a good few strikers available.
