I rate Nemeth as much as anyone from what I've seen of him in the ressies, but do you really think a player who has never played a top flight game is the answer to our problems?
I'm not saying he isn't, but you seem certain it would have been.

Everyone could have Eto in the summer, he even turned up in Borat land.

I've championed Huntelaar for three seasons.

We're stuck with Robbie, Rafa has to back him for 80 minutes at least. The facts are if we are going to play with 1 striker we didn't and don't need to blow 20m on a back up or bit part player.

A quality RM is the answer to our problems. Push Kuyt up as a striking option and bring in Nemeth when appropriate. Same with Babel. Too late now.

Don't forget the UEFA homegrown player quota. Unless they change this rule, if we bring in another import then someone else in the squad has to make way.

                  Tuncay.

Quality player but plays a similar role to Robbie Keane so he would be struggling with these tactics too.

Well if you thought about it, if we didn't buy Keane and promoted Nemeth, and bought a right winger then we'd have Torres, Kuyt and Nemeth as options up front. Kuyt scores when he plays up top, that's fact. Isn't he our leading scorer in the league?

At the moment we've got Torres, Keane and Ngog as the main strikers. I know which trio I would prefer and I would have saved you £20m to boot. I don't see anything that Keane does up top that Kuyt couldn't do alongside Torres.

Not clutching at straws mate....it would have been a better deal imo.

It's so easy to just say we should have bought this player or that player instead of Keane, but had we done that then for all we know he would be facing the same problems right now as Keane is, it is a fact that Strikers go through bad patches, and if Torres had stayed fit then i think we'd be seeing a far more productive Keane by now.

By suggesting that Nemeth is upto the task, surely he's being positive isnt he?

No one knows if Nemeth is ready or not. We won't know that until he get the chance.

He should get the chance on the bench instead of Ngog as soon as he is match fit enough.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
