Here we are three points after Man U, if they win the game in hand, and people are already acting like our season is over.
We are ahead of Chelsea and Arsenal, just behind Man U, of course we have made some stupid draws, but those teams have done the same. That is just one of those seasons, but stop acting like we are out of the title race, we are very much in it.

It pains me to say it as I'm one of his biggest fans, but Masher's been pretty ****e this season too.

why is mascher under par ask that question, the man is world class and would be the first addition in any side but he knows with Rafa he is a bit part player,but a under par mascherano is surely better than lucas,Rafa is a great manager and to replace him at this moment in time would be for someone inferior,its just his stubbornness and inability to admit that he makes mistakes.lucas and kuyt are ****e but they are his ****e so it doesn't matter what we think im afraid

Fergiscum is a battler (sadly), I wouldnt class Whinger as one and I'm unsure about Big Phil TBH.

You seemed to suggest it would hold us in good stead next year. I'm not so sure, we've been lucky three other teams have capitulated around us to be this high.

Whinger with a decent team outdoes Rafa in the league every time. Attack minded football will ALWAYS beat defensive - a hard lesson learned from Houllier's days (or not learned). Scolari is similarly attack minded and has more money at his disposal.

I've held my whistle against Stoke (twice), Fulham, West Ham, To-ting-ham. So no one can acuse me of knee-jerk. But no more. Rafa is a liability. His decisions this year have cost us dearly and tonight comfirmed that.
You get to one nil with a brilliant individual goal and then you take off both your strikers. FFS. I'll go out on a limb here but you'll never WIN a game without strikers.
His substitutions have never made sense to me, but today they cost us the game. Lusas first contribution was to concede the free kick that led to the passage of play for the BS goal. And Benny commited a stupid foul when there was no need, to give them the assist. Does anyone for a second think that the starting 11 would have made those schoolboy mistakes????
Also someone please explain to me why, if you know Torres isn't match fit, you take Keane off first? Furthermore, it is well documented that strikers need to get into a rhythem, so playing them for 70 mins each game is suicidal. 20 million and you won't even give him 90 mins. I'd say he ows you 90 mins every week. You could see the look of discust in his face as he was taken off, but it wasn't surprise...
We all need to ask hard questions and the manager is in the firing line - this is the best chance that we have had in years and it's gone because of stupidity or fear. The skum and 3 games in 6 days and got 9 points. We don't even get that in a month and it's our own ****ing fault.

His exploits around the world over the summer and during the season. He's played as many games for us as nealry anyone.

Things have been pretty poor since November really, I think its fair to say things are spiralling downwards. We're still (amazingly) in a great position, but things need to turn around pronto. Another month of what we've been served up for the last 2 months and we'll be out of it. Manu have accumulated 10 more points since November than we have.

WAs trying to be postive mate, I take your points & agree with some of them.I dont think that it's fair to say Whinger outdoes Rafa everytime tho- we've finished above them 2 out of the last 3 seasons FFS

Can't see it - Bolton was the test. 3rd game in a week and in the 90th they score a winner. Look at the stats, we are second in every one. It;s a bit early for the fat lady but I feel her presence...

I live in Denmark and we have always heard, that Liverpool fans was the most knowledgeable fans around, but sometimes it doesn't seem so in here.
It is not like Man U have set the football world on fire with their latest displays, they just have the luck of scoring late.
And Rafa started with a 4 4 2 today. He took Keane out who didn't have a good game and Torres look tired. And it is not Rafa's fault, that Yossi made that stupid free kick.
If he hadn't, we would have won and people who are now negative as ****, would have been the opposite.
