"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

What odds do you think a bookie would give you on it then? Something like 5/2?

I dont see the need to have Agger, Hyypia and Dossena on the bench. 3 defenders? No point. Plus, Lucas will definitely be on the bench, at least.

Hmm, tricky one this, our form against our rivals is great, i thought they would beat us up their place, as i did the scum at ours, so i'll say it's a win for us.(please).

We struggle more when we're expected to win against smaller clubs, generally we play well at the big clubs.

And had the chavs or manc been able to win 2 or 3 more of those games they'd still be top regardless.

It's a bollocks argument that leads nowhere.

We've lost twce all season, both away to Spurs and you're thinking so negative? Chelsea are more than capable of beating us at Anfield, but as we have yet to lose at home I don't see how you can think we will get thrashed!

FWIW I think we will win, but it can go either way in the big games. A few bad weeks and suddenly everyone wants to jump of the nearest bridge. Get real. We are three results from a much changed forum.

                    Man Utd v Everton
                    Liverpool v Chelsea
                    Everton v Liverpool

All three go against us and it's time to think of Real Madrid........... But if all three go our way then all of a sudden we are up and running again.

Craig, you know what the guy meant, so leave it off.

If we draw or lose we do still have a chance of winning the league as he says, but it would be very unlikely, as you say. That said, this is on the basis of Man Utd beating both Everton today and winning their game in hand at home to Fulham, neither which is nailed on this year.

If Man Utd lose today (unlikely) and we draw with Chelsea we will have gained a point on them and which case would not be out the league.

I think a defining moment in our season could be when we drew with a lesser team and the following day Man Utd put Chelsea to the sword. This was the time they seemed to gain confidence and we lost it. Maybe time for a complete turn around.

And why wouldn't they? There's only two teams in Europe I would expect to beat us at the moment, Barcelona and the Mancs.

I tell you what I'll put a question out there:

Can anyone name a team this season who has out played us?

I can't think of any. Of course there's been spells in games where we have been second best, but in the same games we also had strong spells of possession and good chances. (Villa away, Ateltico home and away).

So I don't see why Chelsea would be favourites to beat us, or why one poster would suggest we could get a hiding!

                          -----------

Edit: Spurs did in the Carling Cup, but that was a reserve game IMO.

I never in the slightest suggested we wouldnt win this game, i was just highlighting the fact that Paul Merson went for a liverpool win, Which he uasually goes out of his way not to do.

I agree with your second point, this was another point brought up my Thommo,(who is a great ambassador for LFC) That we have not been out played this season, which is true, so its not all doom and gloom, but this game tomorrow is a MUST WIN.

Leave what off? The chances of us winning our last 14 games and United losing 3 league games are absolutely miniscule.

Ifs are all well and good, but they dont really increase the tiny probability of those things all happening. Ring your bookie and ask for a price.
