No one is asking you to change your stance - just to stop trying to emulate Rashid. But in the majority of your posts at the moment you don't just criticise the manager but you do so with petty little digs. The same goes for the players - your abuse of Kuyt has been utterly pathetic at times.Originally posted by Joe King View PostWhy should I change my stance so it suits the optimist RCDNW brigade?

I'm not trying to emulate Rashid at all, anything but. I have had enough with Benitez and his constant crap this season. He is 'cracking up'.Originally posted by Reggie View PostNo one is asking you to change your stance - just to stop trying to emulate Rashid. It may bore some people, but it brings balance to the site when people do criticise Rafa. Why shouldn't they? Just as he has his fans who literally believe he can do no wrong and look for some laughably far fetched reasons to explain his failings, he will and should have critics who will be quick to point out his inadequacies. It's just healthy debate.

I think its more that the posters don't want to realise the real truth about Benitez and his failings. They would rather back him no matter what dark alley he is leading the club to. NO man should be shielded from criticism especially Benitez with the lack of improvement he has made in the Premiership over his tenure.Originally posted by Baldemort View PostIt may bore some people, but it brings balance to the site when people do criticise Rafa. Again, no one is saying that Rafa can't be criticised, but not when it basically becomes the agenda of a poster to do so (and as I said do so with petty, derogatory comments).Originally posted by Baldemort View PostIt may bore some people, but it brings balance to the site when people do criticise Rafa. Of course not. But I think it's hard to criticise him outright at the moment as most fans will tell you to look at the table. And they're right for now. I was saying the same thing only a few months ago, but it's the way he's reverted to the same whacky line ups and subs that's made me lose a little faith in him. I thought he had learned and left all that behind. Lord knows how much he will mess about with line ups etc once the CL starts again. He's still a great manager, but some seem to think he's infallible and immune to criticism, which is just plain idiotic.President of the Ban Smileys Society

I doubt either of them would jump at the chance to join Liverpool with the way things are though.Originally posted by Joe King View PostDoes someone have to be 'currently available'? Surely a club like Liverpool can attract many managers from around the world? I would like to see a real winner like Mourinho or Hiddink

That's fair. If it's biased negativity with no basis other than an agenda, then it's pointless. But being new to the site and having spent years on other sites, I can tell you for sure that this place is a lot less anti Rafa than others. He gets a massive amount of stick elsewhere.Originally posted by Reggie View PostAgain, no one is saying that Rafa can't be criticised, but not when it basically becomes the agenda of a poster to do so (and as I said do so with petty, derogatory comments).President of the Ban Smileys Society
