Feel so much better about the team now than any time recently.

Torres' thighs are so pasty lol. Loved the little Buddha celebration.

How nice to see a Manager (Scolari) who says it like it is. What a man.

How great to see Rafa's strongest team control the game and earn such a convincing win. Rafa clearly has a plan.

            Happy Days!!

Feel a little better today! Still a lot to do though.

Gerrard was immense again! His dive was poor though.

Did anyone notice Rafa sub a holding midfielder for an attacking player?!

                I nearly fainted.

In fairness though he did wait until there was only seven minutes left and Chelsea had been down to ten men for some time. I was hoping he'd make the move sooner. Thankfully it all worked out well in the end.

Fantastic result and the thought of Ferguson and Neville choking on their tea when Nando netted makes it even better.

Yes, I agree with that to an extent. I'm having conflicts with myself because I'm not really a fan of his qualities because I think as an attacker he should have some sort of attacking skillset which he really lacks. Thing is he gets himself into so many good positions and ****s proceedings up from there. Then when you think about it, most other players wouldn't be able to get into those positions because they wouldn't be putting their foot in where it hurts or feeding off of slight scraps from errors which defenders may give them.

I think that the way Rafa uses Benayoun is correct and quite effective generally. As a player to look to for creation against smaller teams from teh start, and from the bench as an impact player to draw influence from towards the end of bigger ones. He's a good player capable of unlocking defences but I don't think he's upto starting every game for a club like Liverpool.

We pretty much dominated today without creating much in the way of clear cut chances until the last few mins. But chelsea were never a threat, we were comfortable.

Rafa is superb at getting his team to control the game. If he can get them playing with a higher tempo more often and adding the final ball/cutting edge in the last third, then it'll be job done.

From this angle (the referees angle and with Fat Frank off the ground, studs showing) you COULD see why he was sent off. Not saying its right, but...

AND where was the talk about a wrong sending off after the game the scum had at WBA? Hmmmmm.

I agree with you there. From Riley's viewpoint, it looked like Lampard lunged, with his studs up and caught Alonso.

It wasnt the right decision, but from where Riley was stood, it's very easy to see why he pulled out the red.

How bosingwa stayed on the park, i'll never know.

As an aside, Gerrard could've gone today too. Bit of a wayward lunge that he could've been booked for, but wasnt. And then the dive.

Gotta praise Rafa, the tactics were right today and his subs (well, more Yossi than Babel) helped to win us the game.

Interesting stat they mentioned during the game, the last time we did the league double vs chelsea was the last year we won the title
