A small point, if I may: we did score against them but it didn't f*cking count.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostCouldn't beat Stoke though. Never mind that, we couldn't ****ing score against them.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

That is true, it was unjustly ruled out.Originally posted by Neil Young View PostA small point, if I may: we did score against them but it didn't f*cking count.

...and with it being in the second minute we'd have more than likely gone on to win by 3 or 4. Just think we'd be sitting top right now with a way superior GD.
All what ifs i suppose but if we do lose the title by the odd point it'll be extremely hard not to look back on some of those draws and grimace......some of the chances we missed beggars belief, Keane seemed to miss a hatful of open goals and the woodwork took a battering.'Religion is killing each other over who has the best imaginary friend'

For how many matches is Vidic supposed to be suspended for?? It should be four, right? 3 match ban for a direct red and one extra match suspension for the second red in the same season. But this site says it will only be two. Can someone confirm this?
Hope its a four-match ban and the blue****e knock them off the FA Cup too

It's two IIRC..

Its def only a 2 game ban, one for the red and one extra as he's been sent off previously this seasonOriginally posted by DancingRobot View PostFor how many matches is Vidic supposed to be suspended for?? theres a glimmer of hope shining now but leading the table still with a game in hand at this stage of the season as carra was saying still leaves them in a good position, they usually drop points towards the run in so this wasnt really a big surprise
hopefully we can keep winning and see what happens, they've been there loads of times and have bounced back from dropping points so that the team behind got closer so im not really gonna get carried away
also wouldn't write chelsea off , they're only 3 pts behind us

They're definately in charge, no doubt about it. But they're currently falling to pieces.Originally posted by yukpo View Posttheres a glimmer of hope shining now but leading the table still with a game in hand at this stage of the season as carra was saying still leaves them in a good position, they usually drop points towards the run in so this wasnt really a big surprise

It's not just a couple of bad results, in both games they had players sent off, yellow cards a ton, and lost by a country mile.
They really are cracking up. ****, life is good right now
I do fully expect the scummy tossres to get over it sooner rather than later unfortunately, but it's getting very close. If we manage to win teh rest of our games we don't need them to drop that much, only 4 more points.
It's still a longish shot, but the odds get shorter by the game at the moment and a bit of optimism never hurts.
As for Chelsea, well, they need the Mancs to drop 8 points. Not going to happen. 4 points is a long shot, 8 would be a miracle. We have to watch our shoulders still but they won't make the top spot.
