Arby pushed Carra away first, then Carra went berserk at him.Originally posted by Tee View PostI couldn't give a **** how bad Arbeloa has supposedly been, but for Carra to do that to any of his team mates is just totally and utterly out of order. Arbeloa did well to stay as restrained as he was given that Carra put his hands on him like that.
It was a lack of respect to a senior player (the hand jibe that Arby did to Carras face). Thats not on IMO. Carra went OTT, but he obviously is pissed that Man Utd have won the title, and a reason for that is slack defending (Arsenal game)"When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah

There isn't a lot to this Carra thing really. He was bang out of order, hopefully he'll be ashamed when he watches it and apologise.
Arbeloa did well to restrain himself, probably ****ting himself tbh, but he had every right to be pissed off at Carra screaming in his face whilst he's still getting up, a natural reaction. Regardless of how much better Carra is compared to Arbeloa, they're teammates 1st and foremost. You don't do that to a teammate on the pitch.
Sort it Rafa and put it to bed.

arbeloa should have ****ing decked carra.
the man is a living legend for us and i have so much repect for him but his behaviour today was inexcusable, out of order and downright poor.
ban him for the last game of the seasonn as punishment. noone should be let away for trying to attack you own player. if alonso hadn't stepped in i beleive carra would have hit him.......and i would have cheered if arbeloa had decked him back.
public apology on national television is in order.People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

I'd like to retract my comments made earlier in which i failed to condemn Jamie Carragher's actions in light of his aggressive behaviour towards team-mate Alvara Arbeloa. I said these comments in the heat of the moment and now realise i was wrong in my judgement.Last edited by Marky; 17-05-09, 07:19 PM."Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. As a senior player he should be aware that he represents the club on the pitch and such a ridiclous public display of indiscipline does the club no favours at all. Nobody is too important to excuse that behaviour, especially when they should know better. On the pitch you succeed as a team and you fail as a team. And when you succeed by winning away from home putting internal divisions on match of the day is a ****ing joke. A very poor show by Carra and I'm glad arbeloa had the balls to stand up for himself.Originally posted by Harv View PostArby pushed Carra away first, then Carra went berserk at him.
