Aaaaaaaaarrrrggggg! Nicey, seriously though! Right, look, its is possible for someone to have a really good game and still make a few mistakes at the same time that are worth commenting on.

Anyone saying the kid wasn't one of our better players wasn't watching the same game as me. But anyone who also didn't see him have a couple of dicky moments is wearing blinkers. Pointing those out while talking about his performance is not the same thing at all as giving him stick.

I really think Insua could become a superb full back in time and be the answer for us for many years. But acting like he's Nilton Santos right now is going over the top.

Totally. All in all it was very impressive how he maintained his composure under regular pressure in the game, and no, you probably can't.

His heading does indeed need some real work.

You mention the fact he had a great game but also some errors .. sure fair enough but I put it to you no more and probably less than most of the rest of the team, Kuyt had a mare of a game and I am a huge Kuyt Fanboy, Torres was questionable in parts, Aquilani still looks a few games off sharpness .. Gerrard did not have his best game nor did Benny .. Johnson again I'm a huge fan .. was gash again ... have to run happily discuss this further .. ****face is a term of inderment

Ok so I watched the match again and it only confirmed what I already knew .. Insua had a fantastic game, he headed the ball into on coming traffic once but thats the kind of **** that happens regardless. Given the choice of the two I would much rather have Insua in the team than Johnson presently .. He is very solid at the back, strong, decisive, can shift it and delivers an excellent ball into the box .. all this and hes not afraid to have a shot on goal

He is a sensational little player and we really should be very ****ing proud of the lad instead of the same old useless ass bag behavior tearing strips out of our own players especially young players .. they need our support .. not yeah he was man of the match but he gave the ball away once

i don't get it. i've never said either player was poor. they've had rough patches, but i think insua in particular has a lot more to offer.

sometimes i wish we had a genuine wide player on the right, but that's not kuyt's fault. just wish we had another option, and we could play them both depending on our needs.

kuyt's been a great player for us, and he'll be among the goals again soon.

do think he could use a rest occasionally though.

Completely Agree, Kuyt has taken a slight dip of late .. I would be more than happy sticking Stevie out on the Right and playing Aurellio on the Left and Benny in the hole
