    Fiora post match thread

Pretty awful display that, i think we lack a bit of class in our current lineup, but have enough industry and determination to master the premiership, we will get find out against classy teams like fiorentina though, and i doubt very much we'll win the CL this season. And i'm not being gloomy it's just we don't have enough skill and ability to do it this year(although that might change with aquaman in the first XI)

    anyways..bring on the Chavs

I think if we had not taken till half time to turn up it would have been a different story.

Horrendous first half. Rudderless. No leaders out there that I could see. Midfield was a shambles. Still, I think we'll beat them comfortably at Anfield.

technically we were inferior to them tonight.

Second half we improved but they did to us what Rafa likes to do - deny space to the opposition.

Special mentions Insua, Bennayou, Johnson, and Skrtel who were all shocking.

Also Mascherano was sorely missed especially in the first half. A couple of mistakes by Insua and the defence in general cost us the goals but they didnt exactly have loads of chances. We were surrendering possession way too easily and not pressing enough or playing with enough tempo but second half we were much improved.

There's no need for the total over reaction on here, just a poor night at the office and one we'll learn from.

Utter **** really. Even in the 2nd half, when we're 2-0 down, we're playing tiddlywinks on the edge of our own box, knocking it back and forth without a care in the world. ****'s sake.

Babel's cameo was a positive though, he's potentially a useful option for the right and his confidence should still be on the up given that he did more good in 20 minutes than most of the others did all game.

Credit to them, they were superb in the first half. Still think we'll win the group, we need to play much better than that in the remaining four games. I don't think any individual player could be blamed tonight everyone underperformed.

I cannot wait for Agger to return but TBH we are really suffering not having Sami as he would have steadied the ship this season IMO and lets face it with him gone and agger out injured Carra and Skrtel can afford to play poor and not have the threat of someone like sami that can come in and replace them.

Another cameo to the collection. When will he get a decent run in the team?
