Fair enough, but wouldnt he have rested Torrard then? (New word for SG & FT, less effort to type)

Luckily the '8 games played column' will also be visible.

after skrtel let his man in, and failed to chase back, i'd have yanked him off then and there even if it meant playing snoogy doogy at cb.

So why are you bigging up Inter Milan and Bayern Munich? Have you watched them this season?

We were crap, we played ****e, but all this "lacking class to win the tournament" and now listing a load of teams who arent better than us is a stupid overreaction.

You also seem to be forgetting we were without 2 of our "classiest" players, and Masch. Though Aquilani is unknown still he's clearly got this technique you crave.

Gerres would have been even easier...

I don't know, logically he would but I gave up trying to second guess Rafa's subs about 2 years ago

Our defence is shocking this year. Still, there's a long way to go in this competition.

However I'd say that Kyrgiakos has to play on Sunday - Drogba & Anelka at the moment would run rings around Skrtel and Carragher. Kyrgiakos may not be fast but at least he can stand up against Drogba's strength.

A point at Stamford Bridge would be an excellent result for us, a win better obviously!

That was a ****e result and performance, and gives us hardly any margin for error in our home games.
There are still four matches left in the group. Fiorentina lost their first match, so we're level on points. Yes, a win or draw would have been ideal, but I'm not going to start biting my nails or losing any sleep just yet.

noticed that too. Utterly dreadful and summed his performance up.

we were very poor in the first half and deserved to go in losing at half time.

got to say lucas was really poor today and he contributed nothing either going forward or defensively. skrtel is another one who looks out of depth at this level. don't know what's happened to him.

its strange to say but we look fragile.

We need to beat Lyon in the next match and avoid defeat in the return in France.

I'm not saying it's over, but as i said, our margin for error at home is almost zero now. And it's rafa who really values the opportunity to tie up qualification early, go argue with him
