I can't see us winning three on the trot at the moment let alone ten.

We've lost every match we've played against a half decent team.

Our next 3 games : Lyon (CL), SCUM (PL) Arsenal (Carling Cup) will be crucial IMO.

Lose all three and then the knives will be well and truly out

It does not Red Chilli. Would you rather he signed a worse player just so he could be in the starting XI for the past three months? Maybe you should judge Aquilanis whole Liverpool career before making such a judgement like that. Ridiculous to say the least.

What can be said is that Rafa has took a huge gamble by signing Aquilani. Whether or not it pays of for Rafa personally will be seen at the end of teh season.

          Yep. And that's very worrying.

Shame he wanted out though. Great plan B.
crouch really offer **** all besides picking the ball out of the air. he wouldn't have made a difference at all

Arsenal carling cup? Do you really care about that one? Lose to the Mancs and Lyon and the knives will be out for sure.

10 points behind Man Utd and 9 behind Chelsea would be curtains. At the moment we're clinging on by our fingertips. Defeat to Lyon and we have a tricky task on our hands in Europe.

For me it is clear that the gamble has already failed and I'm sorry but it is an equally disasterous decision as the Anelka/Diouf one.

I would rather Rafa had told Real Madrid and their 30 million to **** off and kept Alonso. Much the same as Martin O'Neil did with Gareth Barry last season.

Just to add insult to injury

Under the laws of the game, the beachball considered an outside agent, which, whether inflatable, plastic bag or yorkshire terrier, should draw a drop-ball if struck.

I don't care about the Carling cup but it will then be 6 defeats in a row which will be significant IMO

The 3 crucial games were Sunderland, Lyon and scum. We've fallen at the first hurdle. Are Gerrard and Torres going to be fit for Lyon???

So the ref knows his game then?

Apparently not. Doesn't disguise the fact that we were dog**** throughout and deserved to lose though

Can we appeal to the FA to have the game replayed
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
