Not happy, not happy one bit.
Why play three centre backs against ****ing Wigan at home??? Degan should be playing right back and Carra in beside Agger.
Why put Insua back in when Aurelio's fit???
Why no Aquilani??? wtf is going on there.
Why no Torres??? If he's fit to be on the bench then surely he's fit enough to start.

It's the same every week but unfortunately football, in reality, is not like that which is why they should have their best 11 out. The 3 points here tonight is quite possibly the most important 3 points he'll play for in his reign and I can't believe that team. If they don't get 3 points tonight, the wheels may fall off altogether and a top 10 finish will not even be the result.Originally posted by Operation View PostShould be enough to win, but not the most inspiring team.

Marky, you'd do a better job than Rafa Benitez and I'm being serious.Originally posted by Marky View PostNot happy, not happy one bit.

This lad has NEVER played a good game for Liverpool. He is an honest, trying player but is not good enough for Liverpool.Originally posted by The Birdman View PostFor me Rafa needs to freshen it up or kick some backsides because what he is currently doing just isn't working.
I don't know the injury situation but I would be tempted to start El Zhar on the right and play Aquilani from the start either off Torres with Gerrard in CM or in CM with Mascherano.
It's probably too much to ask for 2 up front in a home game but picking the same players with the same tactics just isn't happening for us at the moment so he has to show he has acknowledged that and make some changes.
Would be nice to see Pacheco or Ecclestone on the bench as well, sometimes the young lads who are full of enthusiam provide the catalyst for the senior pro's who have got bogged down with the fear of losing.
Bottom line is Rafa has to do something to try and shake off our malaise
Oh and a bench of 2 centre halfs and 2 left backs clearly is a waste of time, just smacks of trying to keep senior players happy by picking them on the bench for appearance money or something.
Skrtel and Insua as subs then bring in 2 young players, fresh faces.
Another player in this catagory would be Insua. He has gone backwards. He started brightly but has declined rapidly. Looks over weight and too slow. Dossena (yes I said Dossena) played better than him the last time and still ended up dropped last week? I think Degan (injury free
) would be worth a try tonight.

Agree that if we don't win then this selection will just pile on more pressure, and rightly so. We'll see. I still think we'll win, even if it's not pretty.Originally posted by ValueFinder View PostIt's the same every week but unfortunately football, in reality, is not like that which is why they should have their best 11 out.
