I bet Stoke are rubbing there hands at the thought of the game on Saturday. I think that could be the worst possible game for us to play in after tonight. Especially if there is no Torres & Gerrard. They will be right in our faces from the kick-off.
Jellyfish are 97% water or something, so how much are they doing? Just give them another 3% and make them water. It's more useful

I thought Agger and Aquilani were the only ones who had a decent game, at least for the first 91 minutes.

They're all his signings so he should take the flack for buying them.

            2. With what players?
            3. Riera injured, Bena, kuyt likes to come in, our genuine wide players are all out/just been bought.
            1. Mourinho is one of the best motivators of players
            2. I believe that was have quality attacking players - the problem is that Rafa's tactics are putting shackles on them all. I think Benayoun, Babel and Riera could be really impressive in a good attacking team.
            3. The fact that we have no width is Rafa's fault - you can't overlook that.

he made his name with this bottom of the table team which he led to some kind of spectacular league finish. He knows how to win leagues alright and im sure we would be a lot closer if he was given a £50m budget.

The thing in rafa's favour is the youth set up. It finally looks right after years of tossing about and his coaching set up is first class and if that gives us some decent players over the next few seasons then in some ways his battle for control will be vindicated.

However, it still doesnt excuse the current state of our team.

Lucas is a good player at the best of times but not good enough to play for Liverpool.

1: I'll take your word for that, personally I've never seen it. A winning team is self motivating...
2: he has but unfortunetly there injured. Riera, Maxi, Degan, Johnson were all bought as wide players.
3: Rafa should have bought players that don't get injured?

Degen's enthusiasm wasn't quite matched by his skill, but at least he had the right attitude. Lucas and aquilani were good in patches, **** in patches.

I agree but I don't think he will be sacked purely because of the money. Besides do you think the Americans would have the ability to get a better manager in?
