You're not getting this, are you. If Purslow wanted investors to know the gory details, he would disclose that to them during the due diligence process. The notion that he would wash that dirty laundry in public, in an interview with a group of fans, is bizarre. any investor would seriously question both his judgement and his discretion if that is the case.

Maybe you're all right and that was his intention. If so, he's not the right person for the job because his actions would display an incredible lack of professional judgement, and any serious investor would run a mile from someone displaying such blatant disregard for privacy.

Exactly. Some people are acting like G&H stole the club from a billionaire philanthropist by lies and deceit, and if they'd failed we would be minted like Man City and winning the league.

They bought us at a time when we could barely afford to buy Dirk Kuyt, and they've given us Torres, Mascherano, Babel, Aquilani, Keane and Johnson, all of whom cost way more than Kuyt did.

Because the very definition of 'expert' is someone who has a great deal of experience in a particular area. Just because I'm not privy to any of the details here - like the rest of you - doesn't mean that I haven't seen, and conducted, this process many times over on companies of varying sizes, which by definition gives me a better understanding of the process than a layman. And not once have I come across a situation where either party thought that the popular press was a clever way of sharing confidential information.

He didn't share any confidential information that was published in SOS' minutes and wasn't on his version as far as I remember, he's just basically said that Gillett and Hicks are cunts.

from my own personal experiences of several other sites before I settled on this one, the majority of the other sites seem to be run by a group of people and if you don't agree with them then you get harassed / bulllied out of the site, on one particular site I remember one of the mods told me it was their site and to leave because I didn't agree with something, this one (up to now) has been good at letting everyone have an opinion without any attempts to change your opinion to match theirs for fear of reprisal
