Nice to see you have such a strong argument there Craig and of course such a realistic comparison.

Because we had a good team out against them, are you really so naive to think they'd be the same against a fringe side?

They didnt provide much indication to me that they would've beaten a fringe XI.

This Liverppol team need to get winning things again and if the UEFA cup can bring a much needed morale boost going into next season then we would be stupind to dismiss it.

That is because you already had that notion in your head and weren't likely to change it.

I doubt we would have scored 3 and only conceded 1 with a fringe team.

How morale boosting would finishing 6th be?

We may not have won 3-1, but we'd have gone through.

Let's hope not. If players like Gerrard & Torres play unnecessarily in the Uefa Cup, and get injured, we'll most likely find out though.

Every time a player takes to the field he risks injury, I think we have a decent enough squad to cope with the Uefa cup and the league.

I understand the cautious mentality because we are s close to having our two superstars back but surly they will be mad for games too based on the injury problems they've had this season.

Torres needs to play meore often to earn his corn imo, if he continues with his injury problenms its better for us to sell.
