I think his original contract was something like 25-30K pounds. Worth more than that and no wonder his head was turned for a while by Barca. Time to put that to bed and sign a contract with a decent paypacket to keep him with us IMO.

Your notion that a player perhaps shouldnt need 'rest' because he may be on £100k p/w, is ludicrous.

The human body will deal with different levels of strenuous activity completely independently of how much it's owner is earning.
