Rafa pisses me off, is he so arrogant that he sulks when players upset him. Dodgy injuries with Aquilani and a gobby Riera. Sort them out and play them, we are paying them big money to sit on their arses when the team is screaming out for some flair.

As this seasons basically a write off anyway, I think he's being steadily groomed for next year. Taking it gently with the old injury and integrating him into the squad and the EPL. He''l be here at least one more year.

I'd like to think this, but if he is fit enough to be on the bench, sticking him on for the last 20mins of the game of West Ham would do him some good. He could just get back into the swing of the game and adapt a little to the English game. Otherwise this season will have been a complete waste for him, he'll still have almost no experience of English football or how to play with his team mates.

Bang on, I think that he should play in every league game thats left now. We're not going to achieve anything in the league this year so there's nothing to lose by playing him. We'll soon find out what he's made of.

I think he'll be here next season mind, and hopefully with a full pre-season in the bag we'll start seeing more of him

To be honest, if he was to come on at Athletico it would've been at the expense of Stevie G - who looked most like scoring, or Lucas or Mascherano - (who were both having decent games) and would have made us weaker defensively. Which is why Rafa lobbed on wide players.

Quality player, looks like he will be moving on though for one reason or another.

Its annoying because Rafa knew Xabi was leaving and had plenty of time to identify a replacement.
