There's just something about him that excites me ( not literally like )
His pace, his running at defenders, his bullet like shots at goal etc. I know he hasn't performed to expectations but I just think if he's man managed right he could be a crowd favourite.

I think Babel has been given enough time to prove himself and he has not.

Lucas has IMO earned another season and IMO he has the ability and intelligence to find players when they make runs and make forward runs himself. He has shown both in the past (not very often) and if you can do it once you can do it again.

I have no problems with Lucas. I feel we are more a counter attacking side and Lucas doesn't fit the mold. Babel offers the pace if we play the fast counter attacking style of play where-as Lucas prefers the slower build up, knock it around until their defence is set blah blah blah football that we've played this yr.

I think he suffered when he went against Rafa and played in the Olympics. He was dropped then got injured and probably dis-illusioned after that. I'd keep him until next Christmas and if he hasn't done it by then, bye bye Babel.

he has come a long way, its tough of you to say he has acted like a moron. Think back to his twitter days, some say his outburst at Benfica was bad but at least he showed some passion. He is starting to find his place in the squad and as soon as he realises he has the ability to be our go-to-man he will surely grow in confidence, its quite clear he is a confidence player. And Aquilani is class, just give him a chance

Rev, he's been treated fine by Rafa and given plenty of chances to prove himself. He just ****s them up. His performance against Burnely was abysmal, giving the ball away every time he tried to take on his man, or not closing down defenders when he played up front.

I don't dislike the guy, I'm just of the opinion he ain't got what it takes. Perhaps its you who are blinded by you love for him .
