Thanjk you.

That's awafully naive Fredo. He engaged in the sale of a massive sporting institution, once for which he claims only to have had the best interests of at heart. He then ADMITS that he recieved an offer from Gillet who told him that Hicks was coming in with him as a result of which he FAILED to properly vet Hicks.
This wasnt someone selling their car or a 3 piece suite, it was a multi million pound sale of one the world's foremost football clubs. He sold it without properly understanding who he was selling it too.
Whilst it may be argued that he had no obligation to the club post sale, he utter neutralises that argument when he gives us all his "cant believe how bad they are please sell now" bollocks. The man clearly only wanted the money and that was that.
There can be no other conclusion drawn. He should shut the **** up because he inane, pathetic excuses are nothing more than a ridiculous charade desigend only to get him back on side with the fan base and to allow back into his padded executive seat with use of the complimentary bar.
He's a ****ing disgrace.
That's very harsh IMO. He ****ed up yes (he as well as everyone who surrounded him at the time) but I think the abuse is OTT.
ANY agreement would be in the form of a legally binding contract (not an informal agreement as you put it)
ALL suggestions is that its a MINIMUM of year long renewal / extension to help the owners facilitate a sale
Now if the owners set the reserve price artificially high then come the end of the agreed period then and only then can RBS make a judgement call on what they want to do
EVEN then the ability to pull the plug would depend on the terms and conditions of the renewal / extension
I'm sorry I do not share your optimism / beliefs in the slightest
This will go on for the entire renewal period after which you will again hear noises about how the owners are still in discussions with potential buyers and are close to a deal which imo will be shortly followed by another RBS renewal / extension to facilitate the sale process
Sorry, don't see that. The financial situation is getting worse and worse as the months go by, it has to stop somewhere. Although RBS are reluctant to put the club in to administration, they cannot allow things to carry on as they are, otherwise the club becomes bankrupt.
Evidently it's not, otherwise something would've been done by now.
I thought the 'no debt on the club' thing was actually a condition of the sale.
But apparently not.
I would have thought waiting 4 years and making sure he got the right owners would have at least said if you dont start building stadium in a year we can take the club back.

to crazy for words
Even then though, the yanks could've started digging holes, drafting in machinery and then justifiably claim that building work had 'started' - upon later abandoning or stalling the project.

do you? do you really?
fact is that we would not be in this situation of David Moores did not put us in this situation........Bollocks to everyone who surrounds him, he signed the club over nobody else, he had overseen our steady decline, he was stupid enough to bring in Parry.
Do you agree with my assesment of the sale however?
He could have done better yes. Moores is too good a man to be a great businessman. He failed but I just can't accept the general level of abuse against him mate, even if LFC is a passionate subject.

sure we could have put other stipulations in to ensure this would not have happened. you get my point
