balague is a ****ing cunt end of. hopefully now rafa has gone he can take his **** inside views with him.

when you are a football genius like kenny that wouldnt matter its not like he has been on a different planet..roy is a good guy and a decent manager ...but he is not in kennys class...and i now fear we could lose stevie and torres which i believe would not have been a worry under kenny
Mmm. Football genius you say.
Liverpool: As a manager did well, but he left the club with a squad that was too old and so sowed the seeds for our future demise.
Blackburn: A big tick
Newcastle: Failed
Celtic: Not sure how much he can be blamed for this, but ginormous fail.
And i am not impressed that a man who was asked to find us a manager puts himself forward. If he wanted tyo be manager, he should not have accepted the responsibility of finding the manager.

I think Masch and Gerrard have both decided to leave; the issue is whether we are offered enough money. I suspect we will have a hugely disruptive few weeks because the offers won't be good enough, but the players will want to fo.
Torres is I think undecided, but the scenario I have just described will rightly spook him.
So, it is good to now have a manager and I for one rate Hodgson, but I still think the pain has only just started.

Apparently he said no such thing. Apparently he said that the players he spoke to didnt know anything about Hodgson's appointment. Apparently Balague is a prick who seldom gets anything right, and who incidentally, even though it has no bearing on this didcussion, is against bringing in technology to assist referees
"With Ron Yeats in defence, we could play Arthur Askey in goal."
I'm happy enough with Roy's signing. He's won as many premiership titles as Rafa had. And he had less money to spend than Rafa did.
At least we're carrying on the tradition of having respected people in that role.
Dalglish at the helm would have had me worried for two reasons: self-serving role of identifying himself as the 'best fit' and out of touch for many years. If Roy can finish top 4 and give us some good victories over top 4 oppos then that's good enough for me. If he never plays Lucas and Mascherano as a pairing, and gives youngsters a try (like Nemeth and Pacecho) then I'll hail him a genuis.
If Torres and Gerrard don't like it they can f*** right off.
Heard him, never heard that though, all i heard when asked how they would react to Hodgsons appointment was....,a chuckle..then he said..."there is a BIG question mark".
You know, it's like they appoint a manager so uninspiring, but one they'd get away with as a viable manager for lfc without it looking ridiculous, just so the players choose to leave of their own accord, job done....more cash.
i never actually heard him but had friends text me to say what he said etc.....

We are where we are, and we must try to make the best of the situation.

I'm more thinking that if they don't like it they can ****ing lump it. Torres in particular. Woy should just tell he's not going to sell him and he'll be at Liverpool next year whether he likes it or not. Gerrard, well I don't give a **** anymore, he can go.
