All very romantic, support your team and all that, but maybe he cares more than even you, and can see what's been happening for too long now, as he says...a line needs to be drawn.

Although saying that, i now believe football has changed for the worse, and that kind of support is in very short supply, even at Liverpool.

Is it possible to support the manager and team but also want the Yanks out?

No Im not saying that...terrible summisation...

Im saying that blindly accepting the yanks decisions will just perpetuate the crap that is happening and I am voicing my opinion and not accepting their imposed mediocrity.

If you are happy with Woy good luck if you love Hicks and Gillett again good luck.

missing the point. We've all been doing that, supporting, and a fat lot of good it's done us, when will enough be enough for lfc fans, we need more than just support for the team now, because we're going no-where fast, we'll be in the same state at the end of next season,. imo.

I tend to agree about not being all that happy with Roy, but in the end he is here to work for the club so rather then not supporting him which will achieve nothing we should further our efforts against the yanks

Where has the idea that Roy is a yes-man come from?

But that's not the point. The point of this particular discussion was that people said they wouldn't support Roy and cheer him on.

Because he is a direct result of appalling ownership decisions and they need to be told

Where has this assumption come from?? According to reports, he kept us waiting 2 weeks to just talk to him, he wanted assurances before he signed about funds...doesn't sound like a yes man to me...yes, he is an amiable character in public and approachable, but who among us knows what he's like at club level?
