Not last season. We were playing hoofball even with Torres on the pitch, he was chasing lost causes and jumping for headers against 2 CBs. Wasn't even counter attacking. We had a huge gap in the middle of the pitch and tried for force it to the strikers. Not the Liverpool way at all.Originally posted by Mattshark View PostYou are contradicting yourself there, counter attacking and dilly dallying with the ball between the back 4 and the DM's can't be doing both.
Rafa had the playing playing in the Liverpool way. 2 DM's at home should not be an issue as that should allow both full backs to go forward as well and prevent what happened to the England defence happening to us. The problem was a lack of cover when Torres was out injured and a lack of options on the bench.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

Please yourself. Don't support the team if you don't want. Just stop patronising those that want to because they are not ignoring the other issues, or even being defeatist, they just enjoy cheering on their team and are not going let other fans or the owners stop them doing so.Originally posted by Vermilion View PostTotally agree, and your right ofcourse, but too many will have ready made excuses as to why there is nothing THEY can do, and we may as well just support, which is exactly what TOM HICKS said we'd do.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

Whilst I argue my point I try not to dig at those that oppose my views, you make valid points about it not being his fault but imho he is way way off the standard to replace Benitez who was considered the right man for the reigning European champions.Originally posted by Operation View PostIt's not either/or. nor is it blindly accepting the decisions of parasite owners. Roy has been given the chance to manage a great club and I am sure he will do it with integrity. He is not responsible for the owners and I don't think worse of him for taking a job from them. He will get my support as a man tryig to achieve what he can with our team. To turn on him because if the ownership situation is very unfair IMO (including saying he won't get support from supposed fans).
Woy has been given the opportunity not for his glorious past, nor his technical ability nor his motivational capabilities but for his ability to say yes.
Thats why I am a trifle vocal.

As i said, just like Hicks said it would be, we love cheering the team, but it stops there, even if the club is being ripped apart from within.Originally posted by Operation View PostPlease yourself. I understand that people aren't keen on his appointment, I am not exactly delighted, but I am responding to claims that people will not support him when he is Liverpool manager unless/until he delivers something. Such conditional support is not really support imo.Originally posted by Frenchie View PostWhilst I argue my point I try not to dig at those that oppose my views, you make valid points about it not being his fault but imho he is way way off the standard to replace Benitez who was considered the right man for the reigning European champions.

There is right and wrong in this world and if we were owned by Bin Laden or some other despot would the same apply?Originally posted by Operation View PostI understand that people aren't keen on his appointment, I am not exactly delighted, but I am responding to claims that people will not support him when he is Liverpool manager unless/until he delivers something. Because the 'wrong' in this scenario is the bleeding dry of the club by dealmakers then thats ok huh?
where do you draw the line or dont you care?

wow, talk about insignificance.... World Terrorism vs A Football Club. Attack the owners for sure but there is absolutely no need to leave the players out to dry. That won't affect the owners at all, they aren't going to care if we dont chant Zamora from the stands at all... It will make no difference to them, they are business people...Originally posted by Frenchie View PostThere is right and wrong in this world and if we were owned by Bin Laden or some other despot would the same apply?

Well said - we support LFC and should do it through thick and thin.Originally posted by Operation View PostAs I said, don't support the team or the manager if you don't want to. It's your choice. Weird, but your choice.
These ****ers are not good for us but LFC has had plenty of adversity and come through the other side!
Get behind your team or jog on!

To cut a long story short, are you saying you're not a liverpool fan anymore because we're owned by wrong'uns?Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years
