Each to their own, but the point was that everyone involved in football lies, it's part of their job remit, some things have to be kept out of the media.

Personally, i think Hodgson generally comes across as one of the more decent and genuine people in football. But as i said, each to their own. I think you're so unhappy at his appointment that you'll use anything, no matter how minor, to criticise him. As regards 'where did that come from', i think plenty of people would ask the same question of your attacks of Hodgson

I didnt say you not liking him means you're not watching football closely, i said that if you think people in football not telling the truth to the media is a rare thing, THEN you're possibly not watching football very closely. Because it happens all the time.

No, not as such. One thing they made clear to me is we have to work within whatever restraints are in place at the club, but they've also made clear that if we were unfortunate to lose somebody then that money would be made available. I'm hoping that won't be the case because I don't want to lose anybody, but we haven't gone much further than that. The Chairman is here today and I'm sure that during the course of the day, when I've spoken to the players, there will be meetings and discussions along those avenues as well.
