Reading the article on the offal and I must say Roy seems to be contemplating using some of the lads who were at the world cup.Now we are supposed to have the best medical science team in football yet it appears our manager would like to go against their advice.Whats the point in having these lads if you ignore them.

Personally I think we should play the kids and see what happens.If we lose so what,concentrating on getting back to the top table of european football should be what this season is all about IMO.

I'd Play the kids and for the second leg maybe some of the lads will be able to play once we know what we have to do.

No point in risking them and going against supposedly the best sports science advice there is to be had and possibly losing them for the real games later in the season

to be fair to roy hodgson i remember reading an article when he took over mentioning he would have to see if it was liverpools priority to do well in europe.

Maybe he has been told its high up on the priority list?

Haven't read the article, but I would guess that he would start these players on the bench, wait and see if they are needed.

I think Hodgson's right listening to the medical team,and if we can't beat these lot then God help us.

I do hope we win this tournament,we need a trophy.
