I watched the Eng U21 game live last night and although he only came on for the 2nd half you couldn't see any difference between Kelly and Chris Smalling who Utd paid £10m for from Fulham, if anything Kelly's distribution was better.

Jack Rodwell was in a different universe to anyone else out there though, what a player he is, he has everything going for him.

Think he was an Everton fan growing up but i'm not 100% sure.

Chances of them keeping him long term are slim to none.

Yes we'd need to pay big but I am not so sure they would not sell to us.

Everton have sold their good players to us before, Barmby etc. I know Rodwell's a different kettle of fish but if we were to ever sort ourselves out financially we'd have a chance. Sadly I think he's nailed on to go to United.
