Current form on Kuyt being rubbish in the first few games and Maxi coming on vs WBA and we looked a lot better... He played 15 minutes so it should be enough for you to realise that too.

Maxi was invisible, like he usually is. He did nothing in that game. Kuyt set up the goal.

Voted 2nd in MOTM against West Brom and I thought he played very well against Arsenal. Don't think anyone did anything against City.

I don't think Kuyt was too good vs Arsenal, he did some good things but did too many bad things. And I don't think Maxi was invisible vs WBA. I think he got involved very regularly, coming infield when he wasn't involved and doing well to keep possession, I also think he was very intelligent in cutting off angles when in defence, rather then running around like crazy, like Kuyt

Fair enough, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but all our best work came down the right hand side, thanks mainly to him and Johnston. After consecutive goals for Holland, I reckon he'd have been in confident enough form for this game.

i'm saying that going into matches with agger behind jovanovic, in te form tat they are in, and expecting any production from that side is unrealistic.

hopefully with konk, this will change some, and maybe as jov adjusts/if he gets dropped

Ok, thought that, but wasn't sure if it was in support of Kuyt being **** that game or just because you wanted to highlight how weak we were on the left.

It is a sorry state of affairs though when you are banking on Paul Konchesky strengthening your first team though. I was gonna add a ‘ha ha’ at the end, but unfortunately it aint funny at all.
