    I'd rather we lost 4-3 than 1-0

He holds the ball up extremely well
Actually i think his stats stand up very well
Top young striker in my books, will only get better ..
        Hes legit
He will improve IMO but not sure if he's ready to lead the line just yet

Also a better result. 3-4 would put you above a team who lost 0-1.

I think if Torres is out we should go with two up front and bring in another striker who can play as either a partner for Torres when we choose to go two up front rather than trying to find a like for like back up.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Winning is better than losing, but let's not go into this tedious debate again.

Doesn't tend to win things though, good defence is need to compete all season. Good balance is what is needed.

Still feel we need more 3-4 players - a lb, cm, winger and a wide man.

Our starting line up on paper is very impressive and up there with the best but in vital positions i think we lack quality back up.

well cant be arsed reading through the whole thread so just gonna throw this question in there... sorry if its been discussed already...

what do you guys think of pacheco? ive been raving on about him for the past 2/3 years and tonight i was impressed in his composure, awareness and skill. The only thing that let him down tonight was his his first touch on occasions but the kid looks like he should be playing for barca he is so cool and calm on the ball.. a joy to watch and with more first team action and confidence is a superstar in the making in my opinion!

Good performances from everyone tonight though, even though the opposition were crap lol
