Our season isn't about tonight ffs. I honestly can't believe the **** written in here. We were bad but we created a few decent chances and but for Hart would have scored and then who knows. Kuyt, Lucas & Skrtel were awful. 4-5-1 wouldn't have changed that.

Torres has got more match fitness and Roy will realise Lucas isn't very good. We'll improve, just have some faith.

Considering the Kuyt's only ever really looked comfortable in that formation, and likewise for Lucas, who's only looked useful when he's had a strong DM holding alongside him, i'd argue it would have.

Ditto Skrtel, who might've been more comfortable defending with 2 holding mids in front of him.

That's how i feel mate. I feel your pain. What took people decades to build have taken those 3 cunts no time at all to ruin it.

We were having a decent spell just before and after half time. Then they score a soft second. Then we had another spell. I honestly didn't see us overrun and if we had reverted to 451 at 2-0 people would say 'ah look he settled for the defeat'.

We should have started with 451, at 2 nil down you have to go for it. But we needed a solid start to take the sting out of the game and 451 allows you to get that. Playing a formation you have never played before gets you... well dicked 3 nil. What we need is a positive response to this and we have a couple of easier games coming up (I think?).

You're not wrong but it did seem quite obvious that playing 4-4-2 against their line up that we were going to get over run and we did.

Having said that, the biggest worry for me is that we still do not seem to be able to play as a team. City were, and I can only go by the radio, playing simple football, playing triangles around our lot and making it all seem so easy.

Dunno why people are slating Roy, yes he showed a lack of urgency but common that team we had out there shoul dhave never been beaten like that! The players need to have a long hard look at themselves and come back strong in next game, early days, poxy result but lets push on
