Anyone remember a few years back how brand spanking shiny new Chelsea beat us 4-1? At home? This happens. And I understand how some of us are saying that the evidence is stacking up that we're seriously ****ed and I guess I don't know why the manager stuck with a formation that supposedly doesn't work but for me it's too early to write us off.

With Gerrard and Torres and Cole. We will inevitably beat a load of **** teams but we haven't been outplayed twice in a row like that for years. We have taken a massive step back in the last 2 years.

I can have all the faith I want. I am unfortunately not blind though.

People saying we needed to make substitutions earlier, look at the attacking options we had on the bench:

        Pacheco- a kid.
        Maxi- ****.
Babel- too busy twittering from the bench.

As for Skrtel he is always an accident waiting to happen. If he needs two players to baby sit him he can **** off.

anyway I'm giving up, I now know how Fredo felt backing Rafa.
There's a correlation between a player playing in a role (and system) he's unsuited to, and him then playing ****e.

Cut out your pathetic sarcastic tone too by the way, there's no need.

I still have hope and belief our Chairman is a highly paid professional with a reputation to maintain.

                    Roy got it badly wrong.
So I've got to fit my formation to accommodate **** players?

Roy basically went all out, which I admire. The players have shown they're not good enough to handle it. Fair enough, in my opinion.

                      Honeymoon period over for Hodgson.
4-4-2, ****ing 4-4-2??? just about explainable just about mind if we had the players for it and we were playing against a side who play that formation but going away from home to Man City who always play 4-3-3 so we'll be overloaded in midfield is a ****ing joke.

Jovanovich isn't a left winger in a 4, Kuyt not a right winger in a 4, Lucas not a centre mid in a 4 I could go on and on.

And why for the love of god play our best centre back at left back where he'll get twisted in knots by a tricky right winger that 99% of people knew would play tonight.

Embarrasing, City weren't 3 goals better and the scoreline flattered them but for the love of god we have played 4-2-3-1 for 3 or 4 seasons now and have the squad of players for that formation, you pick the formation that bests suits your players not a random 4-4-2.

                      I honestly despair.

If you're gonna play 442 at least use Maxi and Babel. If not then get Poulsen in the Mascher role and play 1 up front. Woy did neither and it was a disaster.

**** off Roy, a 5 year old could have looked at that formation, tactics and personal he employed in this game and told you it wouldn't work against anyone half decent. I'm happy we didn't get out of jail for that this evening because hopefully he'll realise that you can't play like that. But ****ing hell for a professional football manager to put that 11 out there and expect a result is just embarrassing.

I didn't want him here from day one, I've tried to be tolerable but I can only see this season going from bad to worse. Just the state of our squad (look at our lack of midfield options, then letting Aquilani go on top of it), the players application and attitude, they all look pissed off like they're still in last season and fairly dodgy management.

It's 2 games, I know but there's nothing to suggest that things are on the up.

Youre missing the point, those players that were out these had failed miserably and didn't deserve to be on the pitch. Some of those players on the bench deserved their shot at doing a better job.

To me Roy looked shellshocked. He looked confused and it took him way to long to react.
