he's not a mug he'll do just fine and is certainly a better fit that others that could play there for us

I doubt Merieles will start but he will defintely feature at some stage, i hope Roy has learned his lesson that Lucas/Poulsen is not the way to go, IMO it will be Gerrard/Poulsen, our problem IMO is who the **** to play on either wing, personally i'd have Babel on the right and only the right side. Maxi/Jovo for LM. Thats 3 players who don't seem to produce much, we have a serious problem out wide, i'm not a big fan of Dirk Kuyt but he is most welcome back instead of these 3.

Maybe some day we'll see Glen johnson at RM, personally i'd really like to see that happen as he's quality going forward and piss poor at defending, god forbid LFC actually have a winger that can beat a man,get down the line and shockingly enough get balls into Torres. That outlet has been non existent for years now, ****ing criminal that it hasn't been properly sorted with all the useless stop gaps we've had in recent years.

and today Cariag will be arguing with

i wonder what the line up will be. hopefully we will see a good tempo i do worry about defending deep as i think it invites pressure onto us.

I hope that we have two good centre halves playing

Aye, Rob Jones did better than OK in his debut there coming from 4th division Crewe. Was it 4th division? He's well capable of starting, I don't think he will though. I can see it being tight and compact to start with Meireles coming on in the second half to up the tempo a bit.

Will we see another 4-4-2 away formation in Manchester?

Definitely want to see Mereiles start but have a feeling he won't. Lucas ahead of Poulsen in that event too just purely due to having experience against the scum. Realistically though, how many teams go to OT and take the game to Utd (aside from us when we're hammering them 4-1 )?

Might just stick the 4-1 match on later

I wish we'd knock on the head this silly notion that Glen Johnson would be a great right midfielder.

                          ON WHAT BASIS!

The better parts to his game are based on him charging into space, space which has more often than not been created by the right midfielder/forward.

Give him the ball facing his own goal and he'll only ever give it back to where it arrived from.

I think a lot of people have seen Gareth Bale go from a ****e left back into a very good left winger and think we can do the same with Johnson.
