If there is any truth in it then carra and gerrard can go **** themselves.
Rafa benitez is far more important or I should say would have been far more important for liverpool fc than those two cunts.
Carra didn't help much by scoring a couple of own goals that possibly played a part in us not winning the league.so if the cunt is pissed off at not winning it,blame yerself son.
Carra was making noises about leaving the club, well u should have ****ed off, you're not as good as you used to be son.same for gerrard.we could have brought in someone younger, sold the cunt to madrid.

Sorry just a bit pissed off after reading that,if its true they can go **** off along with hodgson.

Rafa benitez is far far more important than those 3 cunts, maybe most of u won't agree, well that's my opinion.

Once again I must state that only if its true.otherwise I love carra and gerrard as much as any of you

            These conspiracies are great

But there are rumours doing the rounds

My guess is (based on the rumours) that Carra & Gerrard have the ear of Purslow - to what extent I dont know

I personally think they have a little less influence than people think

For a start the suggestions that Carragher is picking the team etc... is nonsense

Would he have picked himself at leftback?

There is always a reason to why Rafa refused to give Carra a new deal. We will talk later about it etc....

I have said many times that we won't challenge again until we sold Gerrard and replaced Carra.

Sometimes you need to get rid of players with to much power off the pitch to be able to move forward again. Many examples out there that took a step forward after getting rid of the so called local players or stars with to much influence.

              Barcelona got rid of Ronaldinho.
Man U got rid of Beckham.
              Inter got rid of Ibra.
              Real got rid of Raul.
              Arsenal got rid of Henry.
              Tottenham got rid of Berbatov.

              and so on.....

Gerrard was a key player two years ago. He isn't that anymore. He isn't a top class central midfielder anymore. He is a top class attacking midfielder/second striker but that is really the only position he is top class in now and that means that we would be able to replace him.

We can replace Carra without any problem.

Arn, get real mate. Inter sold ibra because they got a crazily good deal. Spurs sold Berba because they got a great offer and when a bigger club comes calling the player tends to leave. Raul stayed for years and won everything going. He left when he was well past his sell by date. Ronaldinho was a party animal and lost the fight to be a great player, messi filled his shoes.

Beckham was never star man for man utd and the media circus that followed him was a detriment.

Gerrard on the other hand is virtually never in the limelight and nor is he past it. He is still one of our top players and we have no great reason or need to sell. The only reason he should go is if someone came in with an Ibra like offer and he wanted to leave.
                Forwards.......

Exactly. He doesn't like playing at RB any more.

Oh, and arsenal sold hnry a year too late. They got a fraction of what they could have the year before. Of course the other side of the argument is that they were mad to sell him. They've not looked like winning anything since and it makes you wonder if they'd have been best hanging on as his experience could have been vital and decisive.

Carra and Gerrard can go do one if this story is true. Carra for one is fast becoming a liability and I cannot see how he will play for us for too much longer, Simple Jack lookalike slow as **** last gasp defender.

I wouldnt be astonished is this was true. The players' attitude has been a disgrace the last season or so. Gerrard was infuriating last season. Sad that it has come to the stage where I even find this vaguely credible.
                        3rd place. Worst champions ever.

It's an interesting theory. Not sure I'd go along with it fully but there is something to the idea that players perhaps past their peak exerting too much influence without turning in top performances is detrimental. I certainly think that a bit like when Henry was in decline at Arsenal it prevented other leaders growing up in the team. That said at this moment we don't have anyone I think might step up.

I'm not sure that we can replace Carragher or Gerrard "without any problem". It may however be true that we need to move beyond them if we are to progress in the near future.

To progress as a club lfc needs new owners, a new manager and funds available to buy players in the same league as Reina, Gerrard and Torres. It's been the same for a while and will continue until we get new owners who can back us in the transfer market.

Talking of media mouthpieces, look at Henry Winter.

Gerrard's ghost writer, and leader of the anti-Rafa brigade. He is privy to a lot more than any of us, and some of the stuff he has come with out in the past year is diabolical. His source? Who do you think?
                              Oh I don't know.

That's a very good point. He turned pretty suddenly on Benitez.
