I think most, if not all, accept that we were **** last year and that the position we are in overall is not good and hence the job Roy has is difficult. That said this season so far has been vastly worse than last year in every conceivable respect and unlike last year there isn't even a man at the helm who obviously loves the club. Roy doesn't have a bond with the club which is understandable he only just got here but at the same time he doesn't seem to have the fight or the plans long term to turn us around. When we had Rafa we seemed to have a plan and we had some pride. Now we don't have either as far as I can see.Originally posted by Robbie-fowler999 View PostI know we are **** right now. but we were also **** last season. Most fans know that we didn't had the squad or ambitious enough owners to expect us to finish in the top four every season. Missing out on the CL is something we sooner or later would do because we stood still and other teams invested big money.
Missing out one season isn't bad, missing out two seasons in a row is bad. You simply can't expect a team that invest nothing in the squad to finish in the top four every season, you simply can't.
You can expect us to qualify for the CL most of the seasons but not in all of them.
We aren't to old magical Liverpool FC anymore. We are the bankrupt Liverpool FC now. A club run to make profits off the pitch and results on the pitch isn't number one priority anymore.
A manager that miss out on the CL one time out of six should never get the sack.Stop the cyberhate

from now on I will skip talking about our finances. That is a promise and will save myself from looking like a

When I read the 1st post the 1st thing I thought of was that quote about Carra by Rafa as highlighted by Shaggy and then the tacit response to Rafa's dismissal too from JV and SG.
I know who my loyalty is with should this be proven.
Interestingly though, I have been in a long-term sporting situation where you had to follow the instructor's rules to the letter and it does get fantastic results if you do so and they know what they're doing. Whilst I'm sure Rafa could be frustrating and overbearing, I can't imagine it becoming the cult of personality my martial arts class sadly became though. It's a very different situation.3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Whoever our manager is we shouldn't be anywhere near the bottom 3.
Top 4? probably not, 6-8th yes definately.
I honestly think that if Hodgson remains as manager we'll be buying Robbie Savage in the January window, I can see the press conference now..........
Journo: Roy, why have you bought useless old has been Savage
Roy: Well I feel he adds experience, energy and that little bit of dare I say devil to our midfield that we have been sorely lacking since I bought Poulson and persisted in playing a better play in Meireles wide.
I honestly cannot see us getting close to the top 6 with him in charge. The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

I think he got a lot of leeway from me certainly in first few games becuase of the abnormally hard start we had, but you could see in them games we were clueless!!!
Bit of a bonus actually becuase we got them out the way and when a manager comes in (inevitable) we will have a few easier games that Roy would still have lost anyway!!_____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?
Think we have the answer..Slot!!

The timing of this rumour is very suspicious. Hodgson's performance is very bad now and most fans are pointing towards him. Then, next question is why did we fire Rafa and hire Hodgson. Who mades this stupid decision? It is MB and Purslow.
I think they or he wants to shift (or share) the blame to Carra and Gerrard. Just my 2 cents.God is back
