Its not all about being a nice guy, he's a half decent manager, but the Liverpool job was one step too far for the guy. LFC arent usually linked to sacking managers without giving them a chance, but maybe under new ownership, a new manager would be ideal

I think he'll be given till around December to turn it around. If he's not got the team heading in the right direction, he'll be gone in time for a new manager to come in, assess the side and then make the relevant changes in the January window, if the transfers are available.

Hopefully the players will be given a new lease of life and show a bit more heart. We all say that off field goings on shouldn't affect them, but they've depressed me so surely it must have played on their minds a bit and affected performances.

With the situation (hopefully) resolved, maybe we'll see some rejuvinated, carefree players out there again?

Depends...if the off field stuff has affected the players minds, then knowing that it has reached a possible resolution might be just the tonic needed for them to play like we know they can.
