I wanted Rafa gone but that had zero impact on him leaving, who management chose to appoint, players inability to play football and the general mess of the club. Can't see the point of this thread at all and it's ****ing boring as **** reading everyone shaking hands over Roy being ****. It's pretty ****ing obvious that he is out of his depth but do we really need to scream it in every single ****ing post on this site.

**** this is tiresome, I thought perhaps with the change of ownership people might change the record but instead it's the fellow fans fault for this situation.

Just because Roy has us in the relegation zone does not mean that Rafa finishing us 7th was a good achievement.

            Correct

Realistically I dont want Rafa back hes gone we have to move on (however if I was offerred him instead of Hodgson I'd bite Inter's hands off )

My thing is we should never have sacked Rafa if we didnt have someone better lined up and Hodgson was never in a million years better than Rafa

I frankly hate the media at this moment defending Roy, blaming Rafa its ****ing crap

Roy should be judged on what he has done so far

We've regressed thats plain to see

            Time for him to go

That's a fair point, but it does show that Rafa was capable of getting more out of the squad than Roy is, and suggests that we were foolish to replace Rafa with Roy. Perhaps there are better managers out there than both, would they have come though. I'm not sure. You only replace your manager if you are going to get someone better, we didn't.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I dont hate him at all but if he wanted Rafa gone and wanted Roy in then I really dont feel the need to listen to his opinion anymore because he is clearly clueless

You are all directly responsible for the utter mess we're in on the pitch now.

You brought this on, and I hope you feel proud of yourselves

How would you feel about feeling 7th now you idiots? You'd all jizz in your pants for a 7th place finish now wouldn't you?

If you'd all been sensible enough to see the bigger picture back then and get behind Rafa he'd still be here. H&G couldn't find a way to force him out until you lot all turned on him. The second the fans turned he was gone in a flash.

If we'd backed him we'd still have one of the best managers in the world at the club, new owners, and positivity all around the club, Rafa would finally have been able to go for his first choice signings etc.

Instead we're in the worst shape since prior to Shankly and you're directly to blame for it

New owners, but until Roy's gone well.........IAFN.
                    WTF is this ****!!!

Rafa had to go, nobody wanted Roy Hodgson here and yes he is way way out of his depth but what a ****ing stupid thread this is, regardless if Roy needs to go!

The club need to start from scratch and that means that we should sack Roy, get in a pass and move manager and sell Gerrard.

Carragher shouldn't have been given a new deal. He is a legend but he isn't good enough anymore and if the rumours are true that he is one of the main players behind Rafa leaving then he should just **** off, legend or not.

I know where you are coming from, I think with Rafa he'd lost the dressing room though - christ I'd take him back at the moment though.

Think the "clearly clueless" comment is a bit knee jerk but not entirely unreasonably at the moment as we are terrible but still a bit knee jerk.

The more I've thought about things the more I think NESV are going to move quickly in regards Roy, they won't have spent this sort of money and allow us to drift along further into mediocrity, makes no sense at all.

It's very easy for any manager to lose the dressing room as long as Gerrard and Carragher play for us. If they want a manager gone then he will be gone. No player should have that kind of power off the pitch. No one is bigger than the club.

Of course nobody is bigger than the club - makes no difference who you are.

Let's be honest though lot's of people wanted Rafa gone last season, we were ****e unbelievably we are actually 10 times worse this season, I didn't think it was possible but we are.

Remember the Gerrard and Carra situation whilst probable is a theory at the moment and not fact.

Indeed, and the notion that Hicks couldn't stand him and thought he was a failure is a fact, from the cunt himself. That's why he was sacked and the views of some on the internet didn't make or enable it to happen.

I think Hicks showed who loaded, cocked and then passed the gun for Purslow to fire the bullet in his spilling his heart out interview on Sky.
