Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

And people still trot out that line "we're just seeing a continuation of last season's crap". It's demonstrably utter bull****. Yes last season was bad and no-one's forgotten it. But if last season was bad, this is just off the ****ing scale.

What pisses me off more, is this **** about 'inherited the benitez mess' or 'just carrying on benitez's work' Bull****. Rafa's failure of 7th is a pipedream now, thanks to roy.

I even heard his comments the other week, saying how after 7 games we were in the bottom 3 and whilst it's obviously not where we want to be, Roy 'knows' that Liverpool FC wont be in the bottom three after 38 games.

Oh jolly goody good-oh ****ety cuntery cunt Roy. Brilliant. Thanks for that.

Thats why we should have gone for Kenny and thats why we should go for Kenny short term now

He commands HUGE respect in Anfield he wont be blown off course by Carragher or Gerrard they will have to toe the line they would never win a popularity contest against Kenny, beside which he has a track record as a player and manager that dwarfs their achievements

The fans would instantly be lifted and frankly I think hed actually get us doing what we need to be doing

That is being on the front foot rather than standing off teams

We only seem to get started when we go a couple of goals down and by then its too late

FFS Hodgson was only starting shouting at the players on or around 80 minutes

If Henry came out and said we are putting Kenny in charge from now until January or now until the summer when we will review it again then that is the get out in case things go wrong. There will then be no shame if it goes tits up Kenny can go back to the academy and carry on

We just cant let the current situation continue
            Spot on mate.

We didn't lose two PL games in a row the last seven months last season. We played **** at times and had to many draws but the season wasn't as bad as some people want us to believe.

Seems to know nothing more than how to escape relegation.

Can't stomach this **** anymore, the way were playing rather than the results just gets me down.

                    ****ety cuntery cunt Roy indeed.

We have lost some world class players and we currently have some terrible players on the pitch, we lost good players under Rafa and that had an impact the season after our 2nd place. We now have a weaker squad than our 7th place finish and a lesser manager running things, the guy hasn't got a clue, he was clueless today, I've had my doubts but this is the first time I am seriously doubting our manager, I have never experienced anything like it. And for what it's worth I stood by Rafa, losing players like Alonso (which was pretty much like having another Gerrard on the team) and Mascherano has hit us hard, our midfield today proves that, if we'd have had, Gerrard, Cole, Mascherano and Alonso in midfield we would be looking at the kind of quality we had two seasons back and the kind of quality to be competing at top level. It's simple really, when you think about it. We just don't have that squad anymore, we haven't got the right players or the right management, isn't that why we're in the bottom two?

If we avoid relegation this season, we have a couple seasons to rebuild under a new manager, I don't expect to be jumping to the top 3 anytime soon mind. In a few seasons we could be gunning for the title again.

The fact that this is even debatable, is a testament to the ****ty job Roy is doing. FFS, relegation and LFC shouldnt even be mentioned on the same page.

It's absolutely sickening to be playing this badly. Even if you ignore the drop in quality of the squad in some areas, the collection of players players we have available should be able to challenge at least the poorer teams in this division. It's the fact that we have been pretty much outplayed every game, by very tame opposition. There's no improvement, because we'd all understand a poorish start with a new manager that picked up as the season progressed, but Roy is doing absolutely nothing in response with no obvious game plan. Seeing us sink as low as this on the pitch, as well as the league is just incredible, because there's no rational excuse for it 8 games in.
