Does the deluded fool think he has the fans on his side though?

Has there ever been anything on here that so many people agree with as much as Hodgson has to go???

I give him one thing, he's making our modding job a hell of a lot easier

I think the disliking of a certain poster was pretty unanimous on here.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I think the simplest thing that should be done, to show the fans feelings, rather than 'Hodgson for England' or whatever (which could oddly be misconstrued as praise), is the Kop to simply sing Rafa Benitez's name.

Nobody could misunderstand the meaning behind that.

Just sing the whole 'La Bamba' Rafa song, but with his name throughout, rather than the 'Torres and Reina' kinda thing.

                  Just:

                  Raaafa Benitez, Raaaafa Benitez,
Rafa Rafa Benitez [clap clap clap clap], Rafa Rafa Benitez
                  Rafa Benitez, Rafa Benitez....

Roy Hodgson believes that Liverpool have to make sure they make the right decisions to avoid signing more ‘expensive failures’.

New England Sports Ventures (NESV) are currently evaluating all options in their first month at the helm before making key decisions but talk of player incomings and outgoings at Anfield has dominated the headlines.

Hodgson, under fire from fans with Liverpool still in the relegation zone, claims that the club currently have more players who commanded lucrative transfer fees than cheaply sourced players of a higher calibre.

He said: “I think you can pay an awful lot of money for poor players and you can pay not very much money for very good ones – it is all to do with how good your scouting and your eye is.

“There are a lot of things here that the club has got to get right. We have got a lot more expensive failures on our list than good players that we have brought in for next to nothing.

“Free transfers don’t necessarily mean that you have got a bargain. My experience of them has been very mixed. You need to be sure that the player you get can do the job you want from him.”

Good ****ing god, that there can be interpreted as a direct dig at Cole, Jovanovich, Maxi.
All 3 of which will be in our matchday squad against Bolton

It's amazing how 3 points at home against a terrible side means people have stepped off the 'Hodgson must go' pedal
He just has to go, end of story, we need to do something about this.

What I didn't realise was his second stint at Inter Milan was for a massive THREE games... yep, that's right THREE games.

His only club 50% plus win percentage came 10 years ago at Copenhagen.
His Premiership record is poor, he loses more games than he wins:

Those stats have to make you question why he was appointed in the first place. Ok so he has better records in the footballing back waters, but surely it's his Premiership record and his record in big competitions that counts and his record there is poor

[Sarcasm]It's ok, Roy has a "good eye" and 35 years experience.[/sarcasm]

Unfortunately John W Henry has come out today and said they will strengthen the team, rather than look to weaken it - which is obvious in itself, but if he's talking of a transfer kitty without making it public so we don't overpay - we need *ANYONE* other than Roy to spend that cash.

His continuing inability to say anything positive about his squad reeks of making excuses for own failings as a manger, blaming them on a 'poor' squad rather than admitting the job's too big for him. The sqaud's not poor if you have the right tactical approach Roy.
