For me no problem with their silence, it's about time we got our house in order behind closed doors - far too much has been said publicly these past few years - too many promises etc....Originally posted by Craig_H View PostBelieving and positive thoughts are all good obviously, but i need to base it on something - and NESV doing/saying anything that i can base it on.
I expect the right changes and some pleasant surprises but we'll know when thing are done and lined up properly.

This is true. I guess any momentum grinded to a halt because we bagged three points, and whilst the pressure isn't exactly off - it could certainly be cranked up again if we lose to Bolton.Originally posted by Rich View PostThe pressure will rocket after Bolton unless Roy changes the habit of a lifetime.
Which is in the realms of possibility - Owen Coyle has got them playing some relatively decent stuff, Elmander is on fire and Roy doesn't know how to pick up a victory on the road.
The only silver lining is if our players are as 'up for it' as they seemed to be last Sunday.

It is the second Anti-Hodgson article to appear in the Post, both have been written by the same blokeOriginally posted by Rich View PostInteresting that it's from the Daily Post.
I'm still confident that the change will happen sooner rather than later...Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Out of interest has anyone got any idea whether his aversion to away points has been career long or a new development since his return to the PL?Originally posted by Rich View PostThe pressure will rocket after Bolton unless Roy changes the habit of a lifetime.Last edited by dww; 29-10-10, 10:28 AM."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

It's gotta be related to the way he sets up with a defensive line on the edge of the area, inviting pressure from the home team. Tactics that have served him well since 36 BCE.Originally posted by dww View PostOut of interest has anyone got any idea whether his aversion to away points has been career long or a new development since his return to the PL?

Have to say the silent protest with "HODGSON FOR ENGLAND" banners would work for me :-)Originally posted by Frenchie View PostWhat are we all going to do to rid ourselves of the plague of auld feckers at the club. Hodgson and his near septagenarian coach?
What can we do? Booing at Anfield isn't really our style so what do we do that is effective at getting the message across?
..'and boy could he play!.

You've only got to look at his career statistics on Wikipedia to see he doesn't win that many games - home or away (although there aren't any stats for his Malmo, Halmstad & Orebro years)
What I didn't realise was his second stint at Inter Milan was for a massive THREE games... yep, that's right THREE games.
His only club 50% plus win percentage came 10 years ago at Copenhagen.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

Going through his Wiki page - he's quite the journey man, with no trophies outside of Scandanavia to show for it.Originally posted by Rich View PostYou've only got to look at his career statistics on Wikipedia to see he doesn't win that many games - home or away (although there aren't any stats for his Malmo, Halmstad & Orebro years)
