We now have a manager that is prepared to make blatant and obvious lies to make himself look like a saint. If he need to throw **** on a young player to make him look like a saint then he will do it without any doubt at all.
He won't stop at anything. The only thing that counts is Roy by the look of it. The rest of us should just shut the **** up and lick his arse.
That is the kind of manager we have now

I don't agree really, I don't think Rafa would be appreciated by NESV. I wanted Dalglish back temporarily, but I think it's probably best for him and everybody else if he's kept in his ambassadorial role. We need a serious manager, someone who is going to be here for a long time - not a temporary measure. I have no idea who that would be, but Hodgson and Kenny don't fit the bill. Rafa would be welcomed by the majority of fans, but not necessarily by the new owners.Originally posted by Daniel Torres View PostHodgson is a dead man walking. Its a matter of time before Kenny's back in charge in the interim before Rafa comes back at the end of the season.
He's the perfect man for NESV.

I think Dalglish would pull it off, he's such a huge figure, the atmosphere would be lifted to a totally new level, that alone could be what the players need to get into the top 4 or 5 by the end of the season. I don't think we would be where we are now if Dalglish would have taken on from Rafa, I just get this feeling of negativity coming from Roy, it just doesn't feel right.
I trust the new owners to do the right thing, Kenny taking over for a season or 2 wouldn't be a bad thing, and if it goes well... you never know what might come of it.

I honestly believe those that selected Cogger Hodgson knew exactly what they were doing.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostI agree that was the reason. Kinda my point tbh. That said, in the summer we had plenty of options, more than just Roy. Crazy appointment and possibly the worst one they could have made out of all the realistic candidates.
Roy the cogger Hodgson wouldn't speak out, wouldn't make demands and certainly would never have any greater power than a coach/manager (makes me feel sick to even call him a coach/manager).
The board would have known he would be the most unpopular choice, but the situation dictated their choice.
Debt, no money for transfers (or very little) prem experience(abait not very good) Low expectations and contract demands.
and finally pending take over, they knew that a deal was on the cards with NESV and needed a stop gap manager, which is why Broughton said that Hodgson had a clause in his contract for the 28 day payment of 1 years salary should the new owners terminate his contract.
All conditions I very much doubt none of the better managers would agree to. (imo)
KD situation is different, he was feared more than Rafa and was the fans choice which would have given him massive power.
RH is a stop gap manager a 1 season manager, not more... If we have another run of bad results he'll be gone sooner. He will NOT be our manager next season.. I am 100% sure of that.

I think a lot of people will be meeting with Henry and I'm pretty certain the vast majority of opinion will not cast Hodgson in a good lightOriginally posted by ashey View PostSurely as the De Facto "Director of Football" Kenny will be meeting with Henry when he visits Liverpool this week. What he tells Henry could go a long way to sealing Hodgson's fate & deciding the identity of the new manager?
I'm feeling positive regarding Henry being over here
I dont think it will have an instant effect but I think it will start sowing the seeds of Hodgsons dismissalBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Think we already know Kenny's opinion about the matter and about Roy as a whole via Paul Dalglish tweets, Paul first said that his father is as fresh as ever to come back to management, his father won't have put himself available for the job if the board didn't come with TOP CLASS managers (shows you how they dismissed Deschampes and Pelligrini as well as Kenny's opinion of Roy) and last he said that our victory against Bolton benefits us but it isn't that classic of a victory adding in a very sarcastic way that he heard thousands will go to the club shop after the match to buy the "How we beat Bolton in Reebok" DVD, and that he would return to give it a shot as well as saying an open bus tour for the victorious teams returning from Bolton for their great achievements, obviously the last couple of tweets are meant at Hodgson's comments of making every scrappy victory against inferior teams seems like a classic win against Barcelona in the European cup final.Originally posted by Baracus View PostKenny's far too wise to get involved. His son on the other hand might tell us one or two things
Hes also made a comment about Melwood a couple of weeks ago which contradicts Roys view of the matterBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

On Monday, the former Liverpool boss was in equally combative mood.
"I think that Mr Hodgson, he doesn't understand," said Benitez. "Every single press conference is even worse than the last one

When I heard that bit yesterday I
my arse off so much. He's obviously been reading and listening to Roy's interviews and came to the same opinion like many of us that every time Roy opens his mouth, he embarrasses himself with some of the things he says.
I also agree with Lecter that Henry will be meeting with a number of people at the club and the feedback he gets will be pretty negative about Roy.
