Results would be fine, but his slavish adherence to 4-4-2 with two banks of four sitting deep and hoofing the ball forward in hope led to tonight's utterly shambolic performance, one of the worst I can remember in ages.

He really is a dinosaur of a manager with not the first clue about how the modern game should be played.

When a manager of Liverpool can surrender midfield for nearly 90 minutes to a poor Wigan side and make them look like Barcelona is at least one step nearer to his being shown the door

That man will never win the fans over. The sooner he goes the better

The truth is in the games we won, the wins were due to either good/great moments by individual players and/or the opposition not playing at the top of their game, Hodgson's tactics have been consistently crap.

We can't play with ****e tactics and rely on moments of class or the opposition having an off day to get results. Hodgson has to go!!
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I said that after the Chelsea game. It is only down to that Torres is a world class player that we aren't bottom of the league.

On a positive note, Comolli was at the game tonight and can't have been too impressed with the way Roy sets up the team. Start winding up the search for a replacement lads.

Really though guys, for all we go on about us playing 4-4-2 do you guys seriously believe that if Hodgson were to change the formation to say 3-5-1 or 4-3-3 even would be playing better??

I don't think we would, I really don't. I don't believe that if the formation were to change we would change. We're simply not good enough as a unit to break teams down.

Sunday was a fluke and some players did play really well that day however the team we have are simply not good or consistent enough to beat teams regardless of where they are in the league on a week by week basis, that is plain to see. They have no craft or guile, no fight and no passion or belief and without those they won't get far and that is a depressing thought.

Clearly Hodgson is not the right manager for us but I believe that if even if someone else was to come in for him we would not be any better, I really don't.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Don't think he was that impressed against Chelsea as well.
                            Are we winning?

Roy literally spent the first 90 mins hiding in his coat, and then jumped up in added on time telling the players to keep going for the last 3 mins, WTF!

Its not the formation, its the way we sit deep and let the other team have possesion without pressing the ball. It's a recipe for disaster in away games as it lets them dominate possession and keep us under the pump for long periods. We'll be lucky to win another away game this season the way we're going.
