I agree that by finishing 7th and the **** performances undermined his position, especially considering some fans turned on him.

I would jump through hoops if I was being offered a new £insert stupid money 2 year deal. seems like a good deal for himOriginally posted by Red11 View PostI don't mean to open old wounds, but who would have/did play CB in that game? Coz now he's happy to play third fiddle to Skrtel & Soto?
Now Mr LFC is the embodiment of humility, then he was just pissed off?!?!?!_____________________________________

The logic of that is, if he was too tired to "run through hoops" last season then he believed he wasn't going to get a new deal, yeah?Originally posted by red g View PostI would jump through hoops if I was being offered a new £insert stupid money 2 year deal. seems like a good deal for him.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

But it's not just internet rumour. He himself said he wasn't happy to play right back last season. He is playing right back this season.
Those are facts not rumours..

My opinion - there's a lot of circumstantial evidence, which I think points to Carragher being involved in making decisions surrounding the direction of the club. To a lesser extent helping remove Rafa and then making it known he was keen on Hodgson. Of course I could be wrong but I don't think I am.Originally posted by Craig_H View Post'No smoke without fire'....we dont KNOW that he's done anything. The whole 2 year contract extension was a funny one - a reward for job done? Rushed through before NESV signed on the dotted line? Purslow's last footballing decision at LFC...James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

If they influenced the selection of Hodgson and Dalglish was in the mix then does it not mean that they favoured Hodgson over Dalglish, and therefore in effect played a part in Dalglish not getting the job?Originally posted by Lecter View PostAnswer to the first part is YES
Second part I have no idea
I'm not saying that's what happened but is it not the logical deduction from what you were told?

It indicates a different attitude. Of course it's not a smoking gun but it's also not nothing at all (or, the same thing, "internet rumour" which is what you're suddenly and persistently trying to paint it as).Originally posted by Craig_H View PostI'm sure he's not happy playing there this season. And i'm sure he played RB under Benitez, too.
In any case, what does it prove exactly?
FWIW worth I agree with whoever said (I think it may have been you) that there's no need to get rid of him, it just needs a manager who is good enough to manage him (and Gerrard)..
