Hopefully the three games were Spurs, Blackpool home and Stoke away
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

If FSG still have not made their mind up on the Bodge, then we are well and truly ****ed.

Probably just people putting two and two together. 3 more league games takes us to Christmas. If we don't get decent results in those three then it would make some logical sense, as it would give a new manager the January window.

          One down two to go.

On another note, If Nesv are delaying because they are waiting to identify the right candidate, or are waiting for the end of the season when the new man is available, then that is fine by me.

If, however, none of this applies and in fact they are still undecided on whether or not he is the right man to be the long term Liverpool manager, then I seriously worry.

The only reason I am keeping my head above water is because I 'm willing to believe so many people on this site who seem convinced Nesv are indeed just waiting for the right time to sack him and already understand he must go.

I'd rather spend £6m on compensation for Roy and the new managers club (if employed) than sign Upson or Cole ffs.
            Forwards.......

Bollocks to paying £6 mill to that old knacker. I say we do things the right and decent way. Give a drunk mexican £100 and a pickaxe.

To be fair you're right, reckon he'd do a far better job of managing us.

Just looked at the league table.

In actual terms we are nearer the bottom than the top and in fact only 4 points clear of the relegation places after 15 games.

Quite simple Roy, it is time you ****ed off.

Just saw this on YNWA :

“I’m just hoping that after 19 games we will be in the top half of the table with a platform to enable us to do a little bit better in the second half of the season.”

Mancini is talking about getting 4th at least, Harry Redknapp says Tottenham can challenge for the title, our manager "hopes" we're in the top half after 19 games and can do a "little bit" better in the next 19 games. This cant go on.

He's got me to the point where I'm barely interested in footy any more. It's astonishing. I hope NESV have a big summer planned for all our sakes.

Comolli is keen to deal with the argument that a Director of Football imposes players on a manager that he does not want. “It is about collaboration,” he said. “A lot of people ask: who is going to make the final decision? I can guarantee you, 100 per cent, that in this job - especially in England - I have never signed a player without the manager agreeing to it. Never, ever. I don’t care what people say. And it won’t happen here. If you sign a player that the manager doesn’t want you are just throwing money into the bin.

“We had a very long meeting last week with Roy about the window. We went through the list and there was one player who Roy said ’This one, I really don’t like him, I know him well and I’m not comfortable with him.’ So we take him off. It is not issue.” If ever there was a club that needed some long-term strategy, it is Liverpool. Since the inauguration of the Premier League, the club has been in stasis, refusing to modernise, trading on its traditions.

Why do I get the feeling we have missed out on a cracking, talented attacking footballer

I doubt it. Someone that he knows well so it's probably a player he's worked with.imo.

I know, I find myself switching on out of curiosity rather then expectation.

I can take defeats, I can take playing badly every so often but i cannot accept a leader with no ambition.

He must go, he is having a negative effect on our club and he can take Carragher with him imo.
