Obviously it wont happen, but when you use the preposition 'if', you're speaking in the event of it happening.
Not sure I'd be comfortable with him even if he's making us successful. I don't like him. It's a bit like Mourihno, even if he's incredibly successful, I don't want him managing this club. Hodgson deeply annoys me, and it annoys me even more seeing him being liked by other managers and pundits such as Andy Gray. So, in retrospect, I think I'd still go with the statement that I'd like him to be sacked even if results were in his favour, but that's just my opinion, stupid or not.

Oh no. Red rag and all that.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Well then, your priorities are pretty much skewed.

It isnt about whose company you'd enjoy at a dinner party, it's about who makes Liverpool win.

It isn't stupid because it's not about the results, it's more about most of the performances, tactics, personnel picked by Hodgson...
Thanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!

Just like if Maureen did come and made us super succesful many on here would hate it as they hate everything he stands for.

Same as Roy I wouldn;t enjoy success as much as i just dont like the man and hate everything he says.

Having said that I could put up with the doddering old cunt if he won us 20 games in a row

And this is even more stupid

The biggest 'be all and end all' in football, is results. Always has been, always will be.

You'd surely concede though, that this feeling of dislike is largely down to how **** he's made us.

If he'd come in, won all the games and had us sitting points clear at the top of the table, we'd pretty much love him.

I know it's hard to imagine - in both respects

Why are my priorities skewed? I'd like Liverpool to win but not at any cost.

What 'cost' is it that pundits and other managers LIKE our manager???

It's not as if we'd be winning because we'd sent out a hitman to take out opposition players before we'd played them.

So, you'd remove your previous comments about Hodgson and Gray if he were to hit a 20 game winning run?

If we won 20 in a row, nothing much to do with LFC would be bothering me too much.

But don't say that my priorities are skewed Craig because you know full well that there is winning and winning right. This applies to every walk of life.

Mentioned something about us 'only' being 10 points off top spot - and taking great joy in telling everyone how, at the same stage last season, we were 13 points off top spot.

"They're closer" remarked Gray, in that emphatic tone that he has, which tries to tap the viewer on the shoulder and say 'Hey listen, I am serious'. "Oh yes, closer" added Keys, in a 'chimp desperately trying to please his master' style. The cringe factor was only exceeded by the interview they conducted with Hodgson.

It was totally cringeworthy and I switched it off straight away at that point.

Also in the build-up I switched off after their pre-match interview with Hodgson when 'Keysy' was blowing smoke up Hodgson's arse by congratulating him on a "magnificent performance at Spurs".

After which Gray talked of the "definite improvement under Roy".

Who are they trying to kid?
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
