Fair enough, as I said I don’t know any real Chelsea fans and despite my bias it is hard for me to accept that any proper football fan doesn’t rate Rafa as a manager despite what they might think about him personally.

Not a big chance but I will never say never in football. NESV will get in the manager they think is the best manager long term.
Hes not coming back
Listen I didnt want Rafa sacking and nothing would have pleased me more than seeing him get backing off some decent owners but hes gone now.
What the club needs now is unity
The club was fractured by the owners and now its fractured by the current manager
The fans, the players, the coaching staff and the owners need to become one to move forward
Unfortunately Rafa divides opinion amongst the fans (and players) and whilst hes not as reviled as Roy hes not exactly universally liked by our fans either
NESV will not employ Rafa as our next manager (they have even used him as a convenient human shield for Hodgsons catastrophic failings)
Whilst the sentimental side of me wants it to happen my head says it is time to move on and that is what NESV will doBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

That will simply almost never happen whoever we sign up to replace Roy. Some players will be happy with the new manager and some players won't.Originally posted by Lecter View PostHes not coming back

Big optimism from the overwhemlingly vast majority of fans, the players, the then board etc...
Rafa today would not inspire that
Roy definitely doesnt
There are other candidates out there who would bring greater overwhelming support and unityBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

On the subject of Rafa going back to Liverpool for his family----
When he gets sacked from Inter (matter of time it seems), he absolutely should come back to the city and take some time out and enjoy his family life. 2010 has been a good year for him financially but obviously a bad year otherwise, his wife should talk some bloody sense into him and get him to relax and sort himself out mentally and physically because he's certainly not the same man he was 2 years ago
