Just read elsewhere and it's a good point....it's 10:07am in Boston at the moment. I was losing heart but the day's only just underway over there. Come on NESV, do the right thing

Is there a sports writer out there with the balls to call these fools out and break up the little media buddy club.

But surely after what he has done in his time at LFC, these comments just demolish any shred of credibility they have as pundits etc, well thats if they had it in the first place that is.

Its bit strange alright, too many of them coming out to Roy's rescue for my liking, bit embarrassing actually. Jobs for the boys scenario alright.
Roy has a similar or even better pedigree than most of these idiots. I think if they go on national television and admit that the LFC job is too big for Roy, it is equivalent to admitting that all of them are not good enough for the top managerial jobs.

Thats a very good point. Its also proving that the Johnny Foreigner manager coming over and taking their top jobs are indeed better than anything England has to offer. They can't get the England job, and they can't get the top 4 jobs. Its a confirmation of their inadequacy.

It makes them look very silly indeed.
Lets face it how many big clubs has Ian Dowie managed?? They probably only only back him because it gets them a few words in the press and shows unity at the LMA. As for roy he ain't for quitting

You never know, football is football. It could be in five years' time, ten years' time, two years' time. We have two years of a contract here, we are really pleased here, the people are very nice, the fans are very similar to Liverpool fans, with passion, so everything is going well."

But Liverpool is home? "Yeah-it's the only house we have. Liverpool is my home and I will come back."

What's Harry won other than the FA Cup? For all his "wonders" at Portsmouth, Southampton and West Ham, all he's really done is win a 4th place with billions behind him, bankrupted West Ham to keep them up and bankrupted Portsmouth to live beyond their means.

Slightly off topic but what the hell does Sammy Lee do , surely he should have had the balls after 10 mins to say Roy this is not working and we need to change something!!! Or is he a Yes man and says nothing

After the Bolton debacle, I imagine he's delighted to be in a job in football at all.
