Just seen Iain Dowie on SSN. I'm paraphrasing but this is basically what he said.

"The players showed a lack of energy last night but that was the players, Roy can't control that. He is a meticulous and intelligent coach. He will be furious with the display but he was the right man for the job in the summer and there's no reason why he's not the right man now. They need to back him in January, let him bring his own players in, and he will turn it around. I'm sure Roy will turn it around."

I'm actually shocked at how many ex players,managers,pundits etc have actually come out and backed Roy, i'm sure he's a heck of a guy off the field but its cringeworthy and kind of baffling when there so many comments like this about backing Roy, after what has gone on in his time at LFC.

It makes them look very silly indeed.

it really seems that way, and its not a coincidence all the same heads are spouting out the same, what seems to be agenda driven back him statements.

But surely after what he has done in his time at LFC, these comments just demolish any shred of credibility they have as pundits etc, well thats if they had it in the first place that is.
