Rangnick had to drop down the divisions for his next club, as he moved to 1899 Hoffenheim of the Regionalliga South for the 2006–07 season. Again, he proved himself adept at this level, as the team instantly won promotion and played the 2007–08 season in the 2. Bundesliga for their first time in their history. The stay in the 2. Bundesliga was short: a second-place finish for Hoffenheim in 2007–08 has earned the club, and Rangnick, promotion to the Bundesliga for the 2008–09 season where the club find themselves challenging for the title.

To be fair, if that's where we're going - then much rather Klopp or Villas Boas. Least they're ripping up their leagues.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostHeard of him but have no first hand knowledge. He's another of the new breed, highly rated by many. Looks like we're gonna have to go down that route, rather than one of the old school list of top names.
Hoffenheim, and i know they are a small club with no title or CL prospects, but they're only 8th. The guy may be doing 'a good job', but to jump from the German league to LFC as an almost unknown and certainly unestablished coach, i'd want someone ripping up ****ing trees.

Haven't got a clue in all honesty, but anyone seems exciting with Hodgson still in charge. Especially a bit of a foreign dark horse. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Since Shaggy mentioned him I now know everything there is to know about Ralf Ringneck. Seriously though, I could imagine NESV going for a manager who we know little about - somebody who matches their vision.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostWith hobbies like golf, going to the cinema and theatre, i say why the hell not???

That would be incredible tbh. Roy out the door and new man in place by tomorrow. Pretty ****ing special. I'd have huge reservations about the manager as I've never heard of him - needs the players respect to get of to a winner, which is why I always advocatedVsn Gaal or Villa Boas for the left of field appointment.
But as Shaggy said, he'd be exciting.Forwards.......
