Except consistently support him when he didnt score for all those games. He couldnt guarantee Crouch starts cos of Nando. Who would?Originally posted by Torres View PostRafa's management....Riera, Babel, Crouch, Bellamy, Keane might argue with you about that. I didn't see Carra or Gerrard coming to his defense ever after he was sacked. The only myth here is the one you're trying to spin.
He did nothing to Crouch or Bellamy, in fact Bellamy was pretty average to say the least. Both wanted to leave due to his exceptional man management skills. He is unable to keep anyone on the bench happy.
His tactics cost us in his last season, far too defensive, threw all his eggs into one basket and it backfired hugely. Rafa was far too scared to concede a goal and often that got in the way of going for the win. Quite often we'd sit back on a one goal lead and pay the price.
The transfer spending is another issue altogether and I've never said he spent a fortune. Something I've pointed out here a few times, at our peak I think our starting 11 and bench cost around the 140m mark, compared to over 200 for Utd and Chelsea, 170 for Spurs.
Take the blinkers off and stop believing that anyone who doesn't think the sun shines out of Rafa's ass, watches Sky and is brainwashed. Go on Montse, put the kettle on for your hubby and make him a nice cuppa tea. You can beat an egg, but you can't beat a nice cuppa tea.In Klopp we trust.

It should be mentioned that Bellamy dug his own grave with his behaviour,
attacking team mates is reason enough to be sold on. Same goes for Riera.
Keane was a mistake to buy in the first place and was rightly shipped out quickly, but by the time he left so had Purslow with his megalomania.
Babel just isn't smart enough.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
