Apparently, at Halftime, Gerrard asked for Agger to be brought on and Roy refused and it kicked off, Gerrard told a few people some home truths and it got a bit out of hand, security might have been called

Roy went back on it then by bringing Agger on so early in the 2nd

      Roy's Blackburn verdict

Roy Hodgson spoke of his disappointment and frustration after Liverpool slumped to a 3-1 defeat at Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday night.

"I'm very disappointed for the fans who travelled so far and gave us such good support only to see the team concede the goals we conceded.

"I thought in the second half we did our best to retrieve a seemingly hopeless situation and get back on track and who knows, if Steven's penalty had gone in we might have even made the last five minutes even more exciting.

"Unfortunately, when you're Liverpool and you lose away to Blackburn there is nothing that can be said which will put a positive slant or make the situation look any brighter, so as far as I'm concerned it's a really, really bad day.

"There's not much more I can say other than to say to the fans that anything they're feeling tonight, I can assure them the feeling is equally as bad and equally as depressed in the dressing room because tonight it was a performance which was anything other than the performance we wanted to give."

He continued: "In football you do what you always do. You keep going as best you can, you make certain you try and get over the result, you make certain the next result is a better one and hopefully wipes away the memory, but that's all you can do.

"Football unfortunately throws up some good moments and bad moments, and when it throws up a bad moment there is no amount of talking that is going to change anything.

"It'll be the next performance which could change things."
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Nah don't believe it. Telling that team some home truths would take a lot longer then 15 minutes. **** the lot of them

If that's the case, then this doesn't bode well. As ****e as a cunt that Hodgson is, and I would definitely be doing the same, if Gerrard starts picking the team, we're ****ed. He can't even manage discipline in the middle of the park.

I think - if true - it's just heat of the moment stuff and I'm sure anyone would think it's something a captain should do. I ****ing would. But then again, I ain't a captain - at least not of the red ship.

If it were true, I'd actually feel sorry for the Bodge, first time ever.

I used to take it as a given that if a manager won the league, the Manager Of The Year award followed, not always fairly.

However, it is a real sign that people are so desperate for an English hero that Hodgson won it in the same season Ancellotti won the double. Ridiculous.

If any of the English managers were that good, why aren't they managing England?
                      Oh I don't know.

                        Teams have sussed us out

We sit deep any balls out to the defenders can be closed down enabling them to win the ball high up the pitch or forcing us to punt it

Having players more comfortable on the ball at the back might help this so I can see the logic in what Gerrard has suggested (I said the same to my mrs earlier)

Anyway Gerrard should also look at himself because watching that game he is never in a billion years a central midfielder

I find it difficult to feel sorry for someone who is making such obvious errors when it comes to team selections. Especially when his failure will result in him getting a pay cheque in the region of £2m+

He had a big hand in picking the Manager - he should remember that when he's picking on Uncle Roy. And he should also not bite the arm that comforts his weary shoulder!

At times in the second half Gerrard was a good 30m more advanced than Lucas and wasn't looking out for his "partner" in the slightest. The sooner he Gerrard takes a more advanced position the better.
