I want us to win, end of. I don't give a **** what implications that has for Hodgson. I want us to get back to the Champions league so excuse me for wanted my football team to win. Every Liverpool fan on here who also want us to win, is also tarred with wanting Hodgson to stay. For the ****ing record I don't want Hodgson to stay, just like I didn't want Rafa to stay at the end. But I always wanted the team to win, no matter what. Because I support Liverpool Football Club, not Liverpool 'Who's the manager' Club. Why is it always a ****ing agenda.

exactly, I have a really really hard time to see how any fans can be upset about a win - and a win against a hard fighting Bolton team at Reebok that is normally a hard place to play.
I ****ing cheered when Maxi scored, and I pity those fans that can't enjoy a late win in a close game with the team they are supporters of.
I just want to enjoy watching Liverpool again, and a win is what we needed and we got it. The state of the club is much more important than the state of any manager we currently have or might not have...

That's exactly where I am. I have strong reservations about Hodgson but time and the owners will sort that out if needed. I want to follow LFC for pleasure not for angst, The former is so much more enjoyable.

My problem is, who is NESV talking to? Let's face it, they don't know our sport. And what worries me, are all the would be pundits viaing for the new kings ear.
Yes it was a win. Not convincing. But to put aside one of, no the biggest turmoil this club has ever been through and try to get back to 'the old ways', leaves me a little cold.
I don't trust Hodgson with our war chest in January. And I certainly don't trust that performance against any of the top five (of which we're not part of).
Yes it was a win. But we shouldn't be looking at this game as a ****ing six pointer!!!! If anything it's the very least we should expect from our team and manager.

I'm sure Broughton has already put them in touch with Kenyon to give them advice.Originally posted by Kronenburg1892 View PostMy problem is, who is NESV talking to? Let's face it, they don't know our sport. And what worries me, are all the would be pundits viaing for the new kings ear.

I'd have thought their priority is to get a credible and experienced CEO and then to work with the CEO to identify a good manager the CEO can work with. I'd be surprised to see the manager changed before the new CEO is appointed.
You don't trust him with someone else's money. NESV seem to be pretty astute and Hodgson isn't their man so it's probably fair to assume they won't trust him too much with their own money. But I'm sure they're aware of the challenges they face and will seek to balance the various pressures.
In terms of the football, we won again! The team is obviously low on confidence and grinding out results is all we can realistically hope for for now. Next week will be very important, it could provide a massive confidence boost or set us back so I hope everyone gets fully behind the team.
My memory's pretty poor but I do remember in the glory years some awful performances for extended periods. Some seem to have forgotten that fact.

a very important 3 points, if we can get some good results over the coming weeks, we wont be in such a bad position, this can only have a positive effect on the team, making us play better.
I too am getting fed up of manager talk. I don't particularly like Roy, but today I just wanted to see us win and see the players celebrating a goal, it is a great feeling.

An average and at times scrappy performance, the likes of which we seem to have become accustomed too over the last 12 months.
We had a few decent spells, were under the kosh at times also. The problem we have is that our average stars are playing ok, but the cream of our squad just haven't performed, as they didnt last season. The likes of Soto, Ngog and Lucas are doing as well as we can expect, whilst the likes of Gerrard, Torres, Carra and Reina have fallen well short of making the difference. They need to take a look at themselves and step up.Play Ball!!!!!!!

P.S Paul Konchesky is one of the worst players i've ever seen in a LFC shirt.
You like the idea of Hodgson wanting to buy 5 or 6 players
FLMAO you do know that means more ****e being dumped on our doorstep
By my reckoning only 1 of his signings so far has looked anywhere near and that is Meireles still 1 out of 5 isnt bad

Off Paul Dalglish's twitter
PaulDalglish - A famous victory, really? I think that is a little excessive. We have won 5 European Cups and 18 Leagues. It was a much needed scrappy win!
PaulDalglish - Just heard the DVD of our famous victory is being released on Monday. Better be quick though. People already camping outside the club shop!
PaulDalglish - What time is the open top bus going around the city tomorrow? Are they putting the barriers out yet? I might fly back!
